    Diana

Muchisimas gracias Diana. Una pregunta mas, quien firma al final, uno mismo con la direccion de la casa? Es decir, yo mismo seria el "traductor"?

    Saludos!

Yo lo hice y no tuve problemas :)

(me mata tu nick! )

    Saludos,

    Caro

    Saludos!

  2. Hello friends,

it's me again with two more questions:

    1. In my i130, question 14, it says "Date authorized stay expired, or will expire, as shown on Form I-94 or I-95", what should I write if my I-94 says

"Valid for duration of status"? (I'm an F1)

    2. In my G-325A, they ask about my father birth date, but since I don't even know my father, what should I answer there?

I was raised by my aunts and they don't have the slightest idea about that date either.

Thanks for any clue in regards to this.

Ques 1. don't know had I-94. You can always call uscis if you are not sure about something. Is there an exp date on your f1?

Ques 2. you should write N/A and attach a note( with the question and the reason why you dont know) to the form. I was told to do that by Uscis when I called USCIS. Don't forget to include Petitioner's name, ss no, date and signature on paper. Don't leave anything blank cuz you will be rejected.

There's no expiration date on my i-94, it only says: "Valid for duration of status".

  4. Her son has nothing to do with your adjustment of status, so you DON'T need to include his birth certificate. The only time he will even enter into the equation will be when she is filling out the I-864 to sponsor you, the houshold size will be 3, instead of 2. So her income will have to be a little higher to be able to support 3 people, instead of 2. That's all.

As for completing the forms, use the GUIDES on this forum to help you. Here is the AOS guide for you: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;page=otheraos

Thank you Kid, I really appreciate answering my question. Yes, I noticed that in the I-864 our household is comprised of the the three of us.

  5. Hi all!

I just came across this Web site today and found it really interesting and helpful.

I am an F1 student but got married with my wife back in December last year. Since I'm not in a hurry to change status yet, we didn't think of filing papers for GC immediately. Now, we want to do so but lawyers fees are absurd, so we are trying to put everything together and send to immigration before this year is over.

I have a question now, and it's she had a kid before our marriage with another guy (8 years ago), who now is my stepson of course. Do I have to include his birth certificate or indicate anything related to him on the documents that need to be filed to immigration? I'm not his father, I do have responsibilities towards him, but not sure if for AOS purposes I need to submit any evidence of anything.

If any of you here had the same experience, I'd highly appreciate it if you gave some advise so I can put all my papers together and not miss anything out.

    Cheers!
