So is there any trouble getting into the country at this time due to swine flu? I have heard of people being held up for a week or more in the air port. I dont want to make the trip then be stuck in the air port for several days.... Let me know people..

Should me and the MRS go to the embassy when i arrive and see what we can do there before we go through anything else? IS it possible to still get visa approval even though the K-1 has been denied and sent back to USCIS?

Alot of these things mentioned above I did an no luck. I sent her money every month and she attended english classes, we talked on the phone very day but didnt have proof until later. Why is this such a pain in the butt....Im sitting here loosing year away from my future wife and being married. im having to face 2011 until we can be together this really suks... I guess the mail thing was only one trip, lack of communication evidence, and wife missed one question in interview. Korean CO was extremely rude with her. Hard part now is funds are low and doing this all over again isnt eay..

her father is in america an itroduced us, we got engaged after 5 months, im american, and only 1 trip to vn. i learned of all this after it was 2 late.. i used allen lolly an that was a total waste of money..... just trying to get things lined up for next visit n apply for cr1 i hear its better than k-3

we had dam hoi last time over 300 people for the engagement party, since her family wanted one in vn before she went to america. I hope we dont need to do another one, we basically had wedding ceremony without documents so we could file the k1 n get her here faster but it failed. So what else to do?

Well bak in March my fiancee was denied her K1 visa because lack or relationship and only 1 trip to vn. Now im try to go back in September so we can get married and apply for a CR-1 visa. Can some one please get me tips and things i need to do while im there to maximize my time over there. Thanks so much...

BUMP any news yet? We were denied for our visa because my fiancee could not answer a few questions and we engage so early after meeting. Lawyer is in the process of apeal and trying to set up interview for me and fiancee in HCMC. Just wondering how things are going Bryon.

Bryon whats that status of your case? I just spoke with Allen Lolly today and he is also suggesting getting married in Thailand which i think isnt doable at all for me. He is formally filing a request to freeze the case in HCMC and ask that I be able to appear in person for a petition and show additional evidence. He has me a bit worried stating that since she has been denied once and that they called our relationship a sham or fake that no matter what it could be denied again. Im growing gray hair by the minute over this stuff. Any body wanna suggest anything.????

I agree im not big but tall im 6'3" and everyone always looked at me as if im a giant when i was in Vietnam. Though good thing about it people get the hell outta my way for the most part LOL. I hate the dirtyness of the country compared to here in Texas. Traffic is Stupid crazy but better than in Bangkok. You can find some food here and there that will remind you of home, Pizza hut was pretty good and I found a small cafe that made good spaghetti......

Hi. The consulate is incorrect. K-1 petitions won't be reviewed by USCIS as of 5/23/2008.

At least they're definitely not reviewed in the California Service Center. You should file again.

And you must rebut the consulate's conclusions about the case.

If the case is closed at the consulate - it's no longer there. The entire file would have been returned to USCIS.

Marriage & a CR-1 are options - but they are not silver bullets. Your case had some problems (either real or

perceived) at the consulate. You need to (a) learn what they are and (B) correct them for the next time around.

what about PHO PHUC LAI ???? Its the worth kind of liar cuz its a PHO PHUC LAI... LOL

For $500 the lawyer is finding out why the visa was refused. I have spoken with Lolly and Ellis on this matter and both have said I have to find out why it was refused. If i do not find out what the problem was and fix it then the next time around with a CR1 or K-3 it could be denied again because my fiance will have a mark next to her name because she was refused already. Lolly said they will try and freeze there case at the consulate and see what they can do to appeal. For $500 dollars its worth it to me, I want to make sure next time around I do this right and fix what we didnt do right this time.

Lolly and associates are handling my case. They will review the case and find out the reason for my rejection and freeze the case and keep it from being sent back for $500 additional services after that are more. Its worth it to keep the case from being sent back and finding out the correct course of action to take to make sure you dont make any more mistakes.

Just to let everyone know I now have a lawyer on the case. I will let you know the results...

how do i schedule interview to plead my case. WHat extra evidence can i show? Do i just go there and show up at the embassy? Imm worried if they return the I-129F i will have to wait a long time. Im trying to get the answer im looking for so i can fly to VN right away and get this problem taken care of and submit any paperwork I can. I could be in VN in a two weeks im sure if I could just get the answer im looking for about what I need to do. Anyones help is appreciated....

Can some one please explain what the IR/CR1 petition is? My K-1 case was rejected and is in the process of being sent back. I need help.

why would you want to go to the consulate and sign in for? Since my k-1 got rejected im trying to learn as much as possible so we can file a K-3 and get everything right this time and get her a visa. Any advise helps..... I will probally be going to VN in March myself for a visit and marry in July and file paperwork immediatly after.....

Heck our engagement ceremony was at LIDO resturant in Ho Chi Minh city with over 300 people. Im sure we can not afford such a big party again nor would the same people want to come for a second party. Im still trying to figure out what to do...

Im just trying to figure out the correct course of action and get things squared away before my next trip to Vietnam hopefully this comming May or sooner.

She received one blue sheet. All they asked for was a credit card statement with my name and address visable on the receipt, i also sent credit card statement showing hotel stays and ATM transactions over in Vietnam, as well as a 6 page letter telling about our relationship and it was notorized.

Thanks for all of the advise. I will have her and her Aunt get in contact with Mr Ellis ASAP. As soon as she gets the papers in the mail Monday or Tuesday next week then she will go in the same day to see Mr Ellis.
