After using the AP for the first time and I-94 is issued and a stpamp is put on the AP document. The Stamp states it is valid for another year. Does this mean we do not have to file a renewal for an entire additional year ?

So we had our interview 18 months ago and the guy said everything was good. Well since then our case is in "review" status. That is the only answer we get and below is what we have tried:

5 INFOPASS appointments (worthless)

6 formal inquiries from USCIS hotline

1 formal inquiry from Ombudsman

4 inquiries from Congressman

1 inquiry from senator

3 inquiries from lawyer

5 direct letters sent to your local USCIS office's supervisor (all sent certified/return receipt.. and ALL ingored!) not even a courtesy response

Anyone have any other ideas? All we get is its under review.. no RFE nothing just review with no estimate on completion and still no temp Green card

we filed AOS based on marriage and were well within all deadlines.

Explain what is meant be the 'service request'? any links?

we are already 9 months into a "supervisory review" after our AOS interview for conditional GC.

Since our interview over 9 months ago there has been no RFE or anything.

Congressman and Senators both have proven useless reporting the same "supervisory review" status. They refuse to provide any more data than this and infopass provides even less information.

Congressman inquires for me but they only ever say they are reviewing it.

So we have been stuck in FBI name check after our Conditional Green Card interview for nearly 4 months.

Any ideas what we can do to assist with this? As expected the USCIS us absolutely worthless on this subject stating it can take up to 7 years and promptly spitting on you. Congessman seems to be able to get a in process status but nothing more.

Actually the Ukraine was part of the Russian Empire in the 1800s. The dominant language in cities such as Kiev is Russian, not Ukrainian. Both countries are predominantly Slavic and the key religion is Russian Orthodox. This is not apples and oranges.

With that said, what does this have to do with finding a good wife? Are Ukraine women better? Russian women better? No difference?

your hsory has some problems..... they were also take over by Poland and lithuania .. for longer periods than by Russia.... you are not relying on actual history to make your judgements. so its kind of like apples and kiwis ....

so we had our interview Aug 6.... The guy had her sign the paper that said she understood the conditional green card rules.

But still nothing! The uscis site doesnt even show any staus beyond reception... Should i bother with infopass or just go to a congressman?

Keep us updated on this. Isn't there any way you could talk to a supervisor or someone?

not really ... i showed him on the 485 where it states she did not need one. He seemed really confused.

but then he said ok and had her sign the docs about her green card and explained when we need to file for removal of conditions....

I even brought the 485 instructions that clear said k-1 holders did not. He was very confused.

The guy had her sign the form and said that she was approved. But he was sure she still needed a full medical exam.

The online entry shows no status and we haven't heard anything. Should i just wait it out?

yippee ! every single civil surgeon in the area REFUSES to transfer the ds-2035 data.They require the FULL medical and FEE!!!! of fkn course

prices ranged from $110 - $485. All were very rud and all called me a liar when i explained they only need to transfer the vaccine data sinc the medical was only 4 months ago

Am i correct in thinking we dont need to bring the medical form since we, of course, dont have it?

The certified translation for the birth certificate .... She translated her own and it got us this far .. Is there something else they need for it to be certified?

MiL and Brides maid along with her husband all got approved for tourists visas for the wedding
