well, i read this one post talking about CENMAR. they said that its one of requirements during the interview now.

Questions:

My husband was never been married, and i never been married too, Do i need this CENMAR? Also it was not written on the checklist that the nvc send to me.

u need a CENOMAR and bring it for ur interview as part of evidence that u r single, never been married. u can get the copy of CENOMAR as easy as birthcertificate at any NSO office.

n my case i didn't submit bank statement. income tax return, employment certificate with earning indicated and his pay check will support ur fiance affidavit of support. Goodluck

maybe..... as long as u have scheduled ur interview.... interview confirmation is one of the requirements of SLEC, but be sure to have payment for medical exam ($213.35 payment should be in Peso with the prevailing exchange rate). Payment( K1) is verified upon submittal of DS forms during ur interview.

NBI Clearance only

Medical Exam: chest Xray(TB) , blood test( HIV, Syphilis), Urine analysis, Physical exam( doctor will examine her breast, an*s, ask her medical history, height, weight, BP, Vision Determination). i only heard some delays on their interview because they undergo treatment( specially found in their urine). Goodluck! tell ur fiancee not to worry..... me got my medical and visa approved despite of my thyroid problem( WOW! it really worry me to death also before i undergo my medical exam).

Medical exam can be done in 2 days( if there's no problem encountered). Me, i had My medical exam 3 days before My interview. everything went well. im from mindanao too so its quiet practical if u had ur medical same week of ur interview. there's a lot of hotel nearby that is very affordable. Just tell ur fiancee to be at SLEC as early as 5am (monday - friday). Be sure to bring all the important documents needed for her medical exam and interview and also a pen and paste ( she will fill up patient data sheets...). Goodluck to both of u! u can go to USEM this oct.7..... done ur medical exam before the interview.

they will ask u to send them the lacking documents as long as have it. if there no other problem then the moment u will submit the documents they ask thats the time they will process ur visa. just expect for a longer delays(a month maybe or more).

Visa interview is as easy as 123. i think ur ready. Good Luck! JUST BE CONFIDENT.

My Tips....

1. staple together all the DS forms and also the interview schedule confirmation. first should be DS form with bank validation. dont forget to signed all the forms and glued ur visa pic. (u will be given a number....u will use for the whole process, then finger scanning.... ur name will be called via PA system)

2. for prescreening(done by a filipino personnel) u will be ask about ur fiance's name, age, address, his job, when did u met, # of days he visited u, when, etc.

u will give her(better prepare this separately so u will be ready... unlike me.... with my tense it really takes me some times to give her what she ask....because i bring 100 pcs of pics i cannot find my family pics with my fiance. hehehehe

* evidence of support(attached the employee's cert., bank accounts, paycheck)

* ur NBI clearance

* pictures together(5 pcs.include 1 with family)

* stamped letter from ur fiance'(3 pcs.)

* Divorce decree(if u have applicable)

* NSO BC

*CENOMAR

* Money transfer receipts

* telephone records

* emails

3. for the consular interview(10-20min)

dont forget to smile... greet her/him

she/he will ask almost the same questions like in the prescreening officer

most common questions from the consular: how u met.... tell ur story.... dont be ashamed. the consular officer most the time is very busy with ur papers... if she/he has nothing to ask.... then done and ur approved! wait ur visa for less than a week.

but n my case i was put on AR because she ask me to submit another NBI clearance (i change 1 letter of my name in BC although it was been corrected already 3 years ago but still didnt match with my CENOMAR....good news is she assure me that she will give me the visa. Got my visa after 3 weeks. if ur n AR it will takes 2 weeks to 6 months to wait for ur visa.

4. window 37 (returned supporting documents) got a pinkslip and 22g form, paid DV for delivery.

Yes u can.... anyway u can reschedule it.

but my advice much better u will call the embassy if ur already done paying DELBROS(for the document verification... atleast 1 month before ur interview date or else this may cause visa approval delays). visit USEM website for the documents needed to bring during interview/and for further instructions, paid the K1 form. anyway scheduling for interview is easy. all u need is the case #. calling the embassy will cost 55php/min.
