I hired a lawyer for l-130. As soon as I have got NVC case number, I e-mailed NVC regarding removing a lawyer from my case

NVC took usual than longer to process e-mail about removing lawyer, meanwhile for lawyer, NVC usually generates AOS and IV bill together because they dont need ds-3032. That is the reason I have sent both package together.

How did you get to pay AOS and IV bill at the same time?. For mine, it only allowed me to pay AOS few days back. And today they accepted ds3032[recevied email] and they enabled IV portion.

I called NVC and received NVC case number. my petiotion was approved on 04/02/09 and received NVC case number on 04/17/09 after 15 days.

Has anyone received I-130 approval during the 1st week of April 2009? Ours was approved April 2nd and I want to see if anyone got anything from NVC yet or know how long it will take?

Question:

Do I need one of these employment letters for each year of my employment at the place where I work? Since I have been working there since 2006,2007,2008, and now 2009. Or do I just have them state that I have been working there for that many years in one employment letter. In these years I have started out as a barback, busser, maintainance man, janitorial, and 2009 I am a Night Auditor/Front Desk. Do I need to make one per each job position or just empoyment letter with my current job title and current individual income. Can someone give me a reply please on this? I would appreciate it. We are almost on our way!!!!!

I-130 Timeline:

Feb. 14, 2008 -- I-130 Sent to USCIA-Chicago Lockbox - filed for spouse based on greencard

Feb. 21, 2008 -- NOA 1 Received from VSC

Aug. 22, 2008 – Become US citizen, called USCIS to upgrade I-130 from F2A to CR1-IR-1 category

Aug. 23, 2008 – send a letter with copy of certificate of naturalization to upgrade the petition.

Sept. 22, 2008 – Status is upgraded to CR-1/IR-1 category and case is pending.

Nov. 06, 2008 - Transferred to CSC (notified via US Post)

Jan 26 - 2009 - case has been sent to Newark, NJ for standard interview.

April 02, 2009 - received e-mail about approval notice sent. No schedule of standard interview just received approval notice

now I am confused about to file or Not to file I-129F for K-3 visa. need to think about best option.

I would like to go for IR-1 route but I dont know how long it will take to schedule interview at local field office Newark, NJ.

I have filed I-130 petition on February 21, 2008. received NOA from Vermont Service center.

On Nov 6, 2008 , this petition transferred to California Service center and it is still pending.

California service center transferred to local district office Newark, NJ for standard interview.

Now I am thinking to apply for K-3. and I need to send I-129F.

Do I need to send I-129F to Vermont service center or California service center?

Please let me know.

Check this link , her user id is Positivity. She did get an approval and according to her timeline she is done with NVC.

I don't know much details about her case and her interview, but maybe you can PM her and talk to her about it.

yes, I did get my citizenship through my first marriage. my first marriage lasted for 6 years (1999-2005).

I have received RFE (Request for Evidence) in December 2008 regarding to submit documents for my first marriage (to prove that marriage is bonafide). Requested RFE documents submitted on 01/20/09 to California service center. today I have received letter for standard interview at Newark, NJ.

No, I have not sent my previous(first) marriage certificate with I-130. I have enclosed divorce decree.

I will submit it with this RFE. thanks for advise.
