  4. Hi Saed4 be very patient. In fact I was in your same situation, no IL yet until today I received it in the mail. Its dated for the 13th of january of 2009, here in Chicago where my local office is located. This office is working in cases from the 28 of march as of october (they had not updated the processig times yet) but it only proves that you'll be hearing from them soon.

Now I have a question to ask all of you:

    1) I've been married for 1yr and 4 months and during the interview date will be 1yr and 6 months, do you think I'll get CONDITIONAL RESIDENCE?

    2) Also will I get my stamp right there? This will be so ideal, my little brother is having his HS graduation ceremony, it will be so nice to be there.

Thank you for making this support group, we need to count on each other's experiences during this stressful situation that is to wait for the paperwork.

  7. I don't freaking get it... my wife and I got her case transfered to California on July 30th and we have yet to hear from them! This really sucks! Now we moved and I am not sure if i submit a change of address if that is going to delay things even more. Can someone help me please. I could always leave the old address there since the people who are living there are my ex-roommates and good friends. So i don't know what to do. Plus i thought i only had to change the address for my wife and now i heard that i as the sponsor also need to update my address.

I'm new at this forum and I filed in June as well. My field office is Chicago and I feel its like so stressed because my own experience is taking forever!!!

Last time I received an update was August 8th, and I received my EAD on Sept 21st.

I filed my i-485 package ONLY (i-130 approved) in the Chicago Lockbox but it is now at the National Benefits Center in Missouri. I haven't received a letter notifying me that my case has moved. ??? We were so confused with the whole process that it was such a mistake to file separately in the first place since my husband is a US citizen. Now a lawyer is representing us but still I feel for all that we've been through we deserve this case to move fast.

Do you have any advice on past experiences on an approximate date on when could I be receiving an approval notice or an interview letter?

  8. Hey guys, you won't believe what happened!

I was driving to target to my interview and my the highway exit I was supposed to take was closed, I had some good extra minutes since I left earlier but it wasn't enough, I had to go back all the way and got there about 9 minutes late, they told me they couldn't interview me because the interviews were from 30 to 30 minutes and I wouldn't have enough time....

I'm so frustrated, I know it wasn't my or anyone's fault but when I finally get a job interview appointment, that happens...They said I could call again and TRY to reschedule it, but I feel so ashamed, I don't know if I will or not, what do you think?

Just updating you guys on the news, thanks for wishing me luck!

omg at first when i started reading your post i thought its about your aos interview i was like omg/// :o:o:o ,,, jusr make sure not to do the same mistake with yor aos interview :thumbs::thumbs: ,, try to call again and i m sure if they need u they will reschedule u for an other job interview,,,, good luck ,, i kno how it feels when u r trying to find a job .. i hope u a great luck :innocent:

  10. Received interview letter in the mail on Wednesday set for Dec 17th. We were transferred to CSC but still got sent for an interview so I guess not everyone who is transferred gets a greencard without an interview. Also, no email about the interview, just a letter in the mail.

wooooooooooooooow congratulations ,, i m very very hapy for u ,, and be sure wither u r going to the interviw or not they r still the same u r getting your green card for sure ,, congratulations again and wish u the best in life after u r done with uscis :thumbs: and thank u for posting your news ,, u cants imagine how much relief it gives to people in my stituation ,,,,,:wacko::wacko:

  11. Hi "saed"!!!!

Thank you for nice words and wishes!!! I`m glad you feel better!!! :star: Don`t ever let the AOS process get to you too much!!! I know how hard it is to stay calm and be patient while waiting for any news/touch from USCIS (sometimes you can go :girlwerewolf2xn: but hang in there!!!!!). I`m sure you will hear some good news soon!!!!!

    In response to your questions:

    1) I didn`t get ANY "touch" since bio other then my RFE (and it was available online after I sent my RFE letter to USCIS; before that non of my case was visible online!).

    2) No, my AOS online status hasn`t change (out of all aplications I sent only I-765 is visible online as "Current Status: Approval notice sent" and I-485 as " Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed").

I wouldn`t count much on USCIS online "updates". In my case they are just not happening ... but as long as I get good news in mail->I`m happy! :D

If you have more questions, I will be more than happy to help out -> as much as I can :energy:

Remember! June filers` turn is NOW!

thank u very much ,, u cant imagine how much relief u brought to my life and my patience with the uscis ,, this is gonna give me more feul to keep waiting for a couple more weeks before i get CRAZYYY AGAIN lol.. anyway ,, my status online says CASE RECIEVED AND AND PENDING ,, an other thing ,, is the letter has been sent to u from chicago schedulling u for an interview or from your local office where u r gonna have the interview ???:blink:

  12. Hi guys!!

Just wanted to share good news!!! We received our IL!!!!!! :D The Interview is scheduled for Dec 9th, in Mount Laurel, NJ. I wasn`t expecting it any time soon, since we just got my EAD (after 142 days!!!!) and it looked like our case is not moving forward  Also, I had no touch since my RFE (September 15) . All of the sudden we got IL in mail. :energy: No online update or e-mail was sent to us with updates. I`m pretty sure that Infopass we had on Oct 27th, had a lot to do with it!!!!

  16. Well, this is not what we expected after being transferred to CSC. Personally I wish they never did transfer us if they were going to make us have an interview after all. Oh, and I never got this in an email. I have just been checking the USCIS site everyday and tonight, this is what I came upon. I guess its better then getting an RFE for sure. Now I know we'll have to prepare for an interview. Wish I knew when because I have a job interview next Friday. I hope it won't be hard to get time off work to go for an interview in Atlanta. Anyways, good luck to all those who are transferred to CSC too. I hope you get your greencards without an interview!!!!

  20. We're still here waiting , waiting quietly.

YanJeff, what was your RFE for? I also got a RFE, and it's related to our tax returns... I filed in late August and the RFE just earlier this week. Obviously still waiting... did you check your status online?

They wanted my tax returns. Which I sent when we filed in the first place.:wacko:

I will check online again today.

That is really sad if you were able to send the documents before. Well, its hard to contest with immigration. The only thing you can do is to just submit what they ask from you. Anyways, goodluck and hope to hear good news from you soon. :star::star:

Well, the "good" thing is that they lost something that you can get for free and that they haven't lost something like..let's say the medical assessment..that would have been more painful

Good luck! It seems that they are processing RFEs quite quickly ..

hey ,, same situlation here

  21. Wow gringoconmexicana...I feel for you..I know how frustrating the entire process is as I am feeling it on my own skin....

the fact that the lady wansn't given you a straight answer...makes me wonder how much she knows about the system...

there are serious gaps..that is for sure...I am just looking at people that are adjusting their status just like me and they already work because they got their ead within 60 days...and mine just got approved after 100...God knows how long it taked until they will acctually mail it out...

anyway...I wanted to tell you that I don;t believe that they will re-start the process...just resume it,,.but what I think that is happening is that they prefer to pick up and work on a brand new case rather then starting something that a different person has started...this is what I believe it's happening...I think they are choosing first the ones with the K visas because they are easy to process and then they dragg their feet with our cases that have tones and tones of evidence ....

after almost 4 months since filing..can say that I had enough with them....

When my husband files for his citizenship last year in august...they told us that it will take 3 months top for his case and then mine will be a bit longer but by April 08 we should be done .... my husband didn;t get his citizenship until JUNE!!! that was horrible waiting and now again...

But..cheer up...think that there are people in worse situations and the fact that you guys are together it's all that matters!

    Right I love my chappar?...

i just wonder ,, the uscis gives us the ip the travel document to travel while our aos is pending  ,,,, ok what if u travel to your home country for a while and u r not togther with your spouse ? does that show them that u r not legal ? i dont think the delays in precessing is up to legal or ilegal ,, somehow yes they del with some cases where benificiaries entred the country illigaly or overstayed their visa before playing for aos ,, but its all about the tone of applications they got ,,,as they say in every email they say WE PROCESS CASES IN ORDER WE RECIEVE THEM .. so now u r waiting ,,, its not waiting for them to make sure u r legal ,, but basicly witing for them to touch your paperwork ,, lol :star:

  22. Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION
