Good luck to everyone with interviews this week. Don't worry, be yourself and you have nothing to worry about. Take all the documents relevant to your marriage even if you think they won't want to see them. Its always safe than sorry. We took 3 big binders and we didn't need any of them so just take all your documents and wait for the green card.

They took my EAD because they said that the I551 stamp is the green card so I don't need it anymore.

I hope by end of march we can see all blue on envy's chart.........

I had a question for those that went to their interview, did they take your EAD and AP papers and how long after the interview did you guys get the green card in the mail?

We did not get the stamp in the passport and they did not take our EAD and AP papers, just

asked to see them.

Were were approved at the interview on Jan 26th but still don't have the greencard yet.

Maybe we will for Valentines Day!!

I had my interview today and I was approved. I even got a stamp in my passport because I needed it for my chauffeur license. The interview took about a half an hour, it started in time, and the lady officer was friendly but firm. She asked us some general questions about our relationship (when we met, when we got married, how long we lived together), our jobs (what we both do) and asked for proves for bona fida marriage. She even looked through our photo albums. At the end she told us that we will receive the welcome letter in mail soon and the green card in less than 3 months.

I've seen some people here that are doing /have done AOS from B1/B2 got married after entering the USA. Is there anyone here who got married before entering the USA, then doing an AOS after they arrived? Just wondering..

I am in this situation. I have the interview on February and my fear is that I can be accused of visa fraud.

I remember that the ofiter at the US border asked me if I overstayed in US. I did not overstay, but maybe you should call USCIS and ask for sure if there are chances that you have problems coming back.

I just came back using the AP and I had no problems coming back. The agent asked me several questions and sent me to a separate room for my AP to get analyzed by another agent but I understood that it was the standard procedure.

I filed in september from L1 visa - I just received my interview letter and the website still has no updates, so I guess it really is as bad as everyone says

I also received my interview letter but no updates ever on the uscis website (I was a September filler)

I was scheduled for the interview on February 10. Hopefully everything goes well. On the uscis website my case still shows up at NBC so the site does not always update it seams.

My AP and EAD were both approved on December 13. Thank you.

Hi everyone this is my first post I am really new to the site and I hope I am posting in the right place if not please let me know. Ok anywaz, here is the problem, My husband went to get his immunizations on Tuesday, They gave him everything, I can't even name them all, Today he had to go back for them to check the TB, it was positive. We have a lawyer, we were trying to get everything in order before we applied for his papers which would have been next week. Does anyone know if this will negativly affect us?? I haven't yet called the lawyer because I am soo scared. Please any advice thanks

if the skin test comes back positive then they will do follow on testing because the skin test does produce an occasional false positive.... most likely a chest x-ray. If the chest xray confirms the presence of TB then he will be treated...

Positive TB is not grounds for deportation...

People who previously had the TB imunization have a positive TB skin test. Only the xray says for sure if it is positive.

Has anyone ever tried to get a social security number after approval without getting the EAD card itself? I am going to try on Monday. The worst they can do is say no right ?

I had to wait until I had my EAD in hand. I went to the Social security office before getting it but they needed to check the EAD in computer in order to get a SSN.

I received today my NOA1 for I-130 and I-485, and the receipt number starts with MSC (Missouri National Benefits Center).

Does anybody know what are the processing times for Missouri? I looked at USCIS website, but neither I-130 or I-485 is listed under MSC. Anybody else filing for AOS whose receipt number starts with MSC?

You can check aproximate times by looking at people's timeline. For example, you might want to look at July fillers for example to see when/if they got the AP, EAD or green card. In our forum (september) we have tables with all the September fillers, where their case is and when/what they receive regarding their case. It helped me a lot.

You have to provide evidence of emergency. I had my grandma really sick in hospital and asked from Romania her medical exams in order to show her condition.

Thank you. I believe that I was lucky because last Friday I asked for an emergency AP. I did not send any proof because they had to contact me first it seams. They never did but they approved both the EAD and AP this Thursday. My guess is that they approved both documents because there were almost 2 months since I applied anyway and I obviously needed them (the AP at least).

For me the real wait begins now because I have no touches on my I485 since September 30. But I finally get to visit my family after more than 3 years!!!

Hi, can you please add my case to the September fillers table? I sent py AOS package on September 19, it was received on September 21 and the notice date is September 25. I had my fingerprints done on October 17 and my I765, I131, I130 and I485 show up as being currently at the National Benefits Center. I had no RFE but have not received any information or decision on my case yet.
