Congratulations my friend....we are in the same boat. Yesterday my wife called NVC but they don't have or package yet and the operator was very rude to her saying "do not bother trying to call us again, we will contact you once we have it"

Anyway we got the hard copy of the NOA2 on Monday so we will wait a few days to call again NVC.

I'm still waiting... Realistically, I don't expect to hear anything until May or June.

Keep your mind positive, you'll get approval soon. If you stay positive will make your life/waiting less miserable and try to not think too much or check everyday USCIS. That way when don't even expect it you'll get the approval, is like watching a clock passing time it's boring, desperating and depressing, try to distract your self enjoy your present. Just and advice, good luck!

YEAH!!! it was approved the I-130...i'm at work and so i went to lunch when i came back the email from USCIS was there under the label NOA2 in Gmail. Keep the hope and stay postive my friends. Good luck to everybody and i hope all of you get approval soon.

YESSSSS is approved. I had 2 touches in a row wednesday and thursday and now approved i'm so happy. Thanks to everybody and the people of this great forum and i'm hoping that everybody get approval soon. Keep your mind positive always

Thanks canadian_wife. I'm done with school i graduated October 2008, i'm waiting for my diploma maybe i can go to school and get something stating that my diploma is in process and i have to get in person. Yeah it's really true about the mood of the agent a year ago when i went to the US the agent treated me like sh*t and a criminal was really rude, my POE was in Houston,TX.

What i find kind stupid is why would stay if is really evident that we are trying to follow the law doing the whole process of I-130. Would be the stupidest thing that you can ever do is over stay while you I-130 is pending and you are half way or less to get approved.

That's it i have dual citizenship Argentine/Spanish so i'm planning visiting my wife in March. That would affect my process? I've been reading that a lot of people visited their spouses while I-130 pending under Visa Waiver Program and you should show sometimes evidence at the POE to the immigration officer that you're going back. I have the lease of my apartment as an evidence also the NOA1 letter. I'm employed right now but i will quit to be able to go in march so i won't have a letter of my employer.

Nicee thank you very much... i would like to see other replys to see if is always the same email address, just to make sure .

Maybe people that already got the NOA2 got and email from USCIS notifying that you were approved in the case you had an user name at USCIS website and checked to notify you. I would like to know the email address that was sent that notification so i could put a filter in gmail coming from that mail so i don't have to check my spam folder because sometimes you can get important mails there. Thanks for the help!

I just found out today the igor's list that show you the filers of each month, i think is very helpful to see where are the approvals taking action and even you can see how many people is before you but is not a hundred percent reliable because the data is based on timelines and some could be outdated. But you should check it out is in my signature the link to that list.

Don't worry Noami you need to wait it's to soon to start worrying. Hang in there that soon you will get approval within January or February, things are going to move fast in this months compared to December because of the holidays.

Depends on the petitioner state of residency. You can't select a service center. Hope that helps if i'm wrong somebody correct me.
