Why should you get processed any quicker being in the Forces when you're not even in the country? Slightly irritating that everyone else has to wait in turn for their approval and Forces personnel can bypass the system?????

And before everyone jumps on me think about it, there are many other professions that are "doing good" for the country" like nurses,police officers etc etc do they qualify for expedited approval too??

probably because there is a greater risk for the military when deployed to a war zone. personally i don't see anything wrong with them getting expedited

Well, I want to thank everyone who gave me answers to my to my question. Well, you sure are right.....there are many other professions that are "doing good" for the country. And YES, maybe they should be considered too for exedited approval. Thank you for letting me see it from you angle. We (vj's) are on this site to give each other advice and support. We are just trying to get our loved ones closer to us. We search for answers to questions. We have no time for opinions that don't reflect the mission of this website. I sure don't. I'm to busy making sure the Marine to the right and left of me get home to see his family.

is rio a "high fraud" consualte??? this bona fide stuff is chalengeing.

I request was approved for expediated processing. Can i get the foreign consulate (Rio, Brazil in this case) to also honor this request???? I found nothing on the web site that lists the criteria. I am currently deployed to the "sandbox" (iraq).

I am a Marine currently serving a combat deployment. My fiance is in Rio. Can her K1 move any faster since i am serving my country. I just got my first NOA sept 12. Is there anything i can do to speed things up??? I want to get her to the states asap. they are talking about leaving again, only this time to Afganastan.
