If you can and have no problem with getting his mom to be the co-sponsor then that will be the way to go.
You will need your husbands US passport to apply since he was born outside the US. You will also need the original birth certificate and an officially translated copy if it is in any language other than English (or American)

I don't think you should include them because they are not listed as dependent on your tax returns. For all you know you could be renting a room in their house and have your own happy life

If you have purchased the money order from usps then you have to file a form to inquire about the status of your money order
from USPS.com
14.3.9 Payment Inquiry
A purchaser, payee, or endorsee may, at any time, inquire about payment of a domestic money order by completing, signing, and filing Form 6401 and paying the appropriate fee; a separate form and fee are required for each money order. The fee is not required if Form 6401 is filed by a bank, other financial institution, government agency that processes money orders directly with the Federal Reserve Bank, or postal official engaged in official USPS business.
I would advice you to wait, its tough but will pay at the end

Hi all,
My question: Can student loans be considered as income when filing the affidative of support? My US citizen husband who is sponsoring me is currently a student and our income is based on his student loans which are way above 125% of the poverty line.
Thanks,

Hi,
I got married to my BF of 3 years yesterday in New York!! I am a Canadian and he is an American. I have a B1 visa of 3 months? I heard that I can change my status in order to obtain a green card eventually. Can someone direct me to what applications I need to file and will it be ok for me to stay past 3 months here in the US?
THANKS
How to give evidence for 125% poverty line?
in Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas

A co-sponsor could be any American citizen. I had my best friend co-sponsor me and my wife because im still in school and I had my interview today with no problems.
You will need your husbands birth certificate (original and a copy) when you go for your AOS interview but not when you apply so you have time to get them
