    Congratulations on your interview! My SO has his medical appointment on Thursday and his interview will be next week, although we don't know what time. The embassy in Sarajevo issues visas the next day so I am hoping and praying he will be here on Valentine's Day! It would be the best present! Anyway, good luck to everyone! The process is a lot faster now after getting approved. We were lucky to make it go even faster because we already went to get all of the paperwork done prior to getting approved. Boy am I sure happy I did that.

    Good morning! So I have been playing around with the dhl website for quite a whole, but every time I searched via shipper's reference, it would never allow me to choose my country. If I did, then it wouldn't work. I would receive a message that said something like "Tracking by shipper's reference is currently not working." Anyway, yesterday I tried again, and this time it worked! My package left NVC on Friday and is already in Germany! Which means it should be at the embassy by Tuesday at the lastest! This is terrific!

    Also, Chuck and Grace, your documents look fantastic! I sent mine on Wednesday to my SO via DHL and they were similarly organized. I also left room for him to insert certain documents (birth certificate, police certificate, etc).

    Quick question: does anybody know how long it takes to receive Packet 3 one the petition arrives at the embassy? I am currently pregnant and would like to make the interview as soon as possible so that my SO could be here for my next doctor's appointment. I'm going to call them on Tuesday and see what I can do about that.

    Hey all! So how is everyone doing? I just mailed off a binder of information to my SO. I am hoping NVC forwards our petition soon so that he could schedule an interview ASAP. I have a quick question, though: how often does NVC update their case status? Every time I call the automated system, the guy tells me that they haven't received my case. This is driving me crazy!!! I know it's only been a week, but do we know how often the automated system is updated?

    At 6:29 pm I received an email stating that our I129F Petition was APPROVED!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance: I cannot get this smile off of my face. For everyone that is still waiting, it's coming soon!!!! Just have a litle faith! Now that one big hurdle has been overcome, I am hoping the rest can go by quickly. I have all of my other paperwork prepared I just need a copy of the NOA 2 letter that was sent out today.

    Hey all!! Hope you all had a great weekend! I spent much of yesterday getting everything prepared to send off to my SO. Here's my list, let me know if I mised anything:

    Copies of NOA1 (and NOA2---when I get it!!!) (do I need to send the originals? b/c I thought we needed those for AOS)

    Affidavit of Support, Employment Verification, Tax return for 2007, Most recent Bank Statement and Pay Stub

    Original Boarding Passes for my three trips this year

    40 pages of MSN chat logs, 7-8 emails, and long distance phone bills

    A 50 page photo album of pictures of us during all three trips as well as pictures of us with family at our engagement party during our most recent trip (I bought one of those albums you could write in so that I could write who was in the picture, where it was taken, and the date it was taken)

    My one question is about the NOA 1 and 2- do I need originals or can I send copies?

    Is there anything I am missing?

    because of grad school and other plans we are waiting 3.5 months to do the visa interview, but i'm definitely going back to ukraine for the interview. now i spend my time looking up plane ticket prices! i'm so excited to see my fiance!! (even though it's a long way off) :)

    When was the last time you saw your SO? I just got back last week and before the I was there for 3.5 weeks in Oct/Nov.... I can say that has made it much easier dealing with the wait. Anyways, for those of us who haven't yet received the NOA2, we will get them when we are supposed to get them. I believe everything happens for a reason :thumbs:

    I already received my NOA 1 in the mail. It took about a week from the date I sent the K1 packet to CSC. I am really hoping that this goes by fast. In 19 more days, I am leaving to Bosnia to see my fiance.... and I can't wait!!!! I just need to remember to save all of the boarding passes, etc, so I can use them as proof of an ongoing relationship.

    Also, I was wondering if anyone new any good travel site (NOT expedia, cheapoair, kayak, vayama, etc) where I can find decent deals on flights to Belgrade? I am planning on going again December 19 - January 3, but tickets are upwards of $1100!!!
