I talked to Lu today and her visa was also approved.....wow I am so excited...

The important thing is for the USCIS to have the correct address of the beneficiary once they arrive in the US.

My SO has her interview on March 17. I just recently purchased a home and I was wondering is it really worth the effort to change my address now? Technically my old address will still be valid until a day before her interview. What do you guys think?

Harsh: I recieved a letter from NVC 3 times!!!! with the same message!!! First these people take forever to take your case..then once they do..they send multiple copies of the same information.

I received 3 identical letters from NVC too...the only difference was the date...weird.

Hey Guys I have an affidavit of support question.....I think I might have jumped the gun alittle.... I sent my SO a package a week ago that included the affidavit and supporting docs........then I began to think.....she probably will not interview until mid to late March and the consulate may view the docs as dated....do you guys think this will be the case?

This waiting sucks!!!!

WE ARE APPROVED!!!!!! I was sad all day and then I get home tonight from work and check my box and what did I see a I-797 notice.....weird thing is....I never received any touches and it still states my status is pending.....notice date was January 15,2009........I'm speechless..........

Well I didn't get to see all of the speech, but I did get the chance to see him take the oath....I think he was a little nervous as he messed it up a few times, by cutting off the person giving the oath and having to have a part of it repeated to him as he couldn't recite it. I have seen him speak in other times, and he is a very good speaker I just hope he will be able to deliver on his promises even during this tough situtation he is inheriting.

From what was reported on our local talk show.The person giving the oath screwed up several times and obama knew the oath and waited for that person to give it correctly

Correct!!!! Obama was a constitutional law professor.....he knows it inside out..that passage was taken from that document.....the CHIEF SUPREME COURT JUSTICE is the one who screwed it up......which is kind of scarey when you think about about it

I was reading some of my Yahoo messenger archived chats with my significant other.....and I must say.....its a little raunchy at times.... ........do you guys think they actually read the messages? Lu is a little embarrassed to have them read during her interview but I told her it represents how we truly feel about each other and its proof of our love for one another......I dont have a problem with it......but I just want her to be comfortable when she has her interview........any thoughts?

Edit them a BIT. Little juicy maybe a plus. You don't see where people post COs read chats much. Didn't read our emails, chats. Case by case tho depending on other evidence you have.

Got good news today, Chris is booking his tickets on Monday to come downunder for Christmas and New Year, Woot! Only like 15 weeks till I get to see my boy on my home ground!

I have a visit coming in November.....I leave the day before Thanksgiving and return the second week in December.......I cant wait.....
