Hello,

I am in the process of removing the conditional green card, already sent the application, and i believe everything will be smooth.

My employer just laid me off, and i am eligible for unemployment. My questions are:

1- Will that affect my sponsor, since he signed the affidavit guaranteeing that he will pay for any charges i make to the government? Is unemployment insurance same as food stamps and well fare?

2- Will that affect me in the future when i apply for citizenship?

This post is very complete and helped me a lot. But i still have one question:

On the section What initial evidence is required, number 2, asks for 2 completed fingerprints cards (Form FD-258).

Questions:

1- Do i have to include this with my application?

2- If yes, how can i get one?
