  1. Wow that's very nice Oana31!!! I'm happy for you. Good thing happened even you dont have approval yet and that's your - faith and trust in God. Hope that your prayers will give us approval this week. Let's do pray all together, i know God is with. Just hold on and have faith. Things will be alright in God's perfect time. Good luck to all of us. Yes we can do it!:dance::dance:

I second that, it was very nice!

Just wanted to stop in and say hi to the June filers still waiting for their NOA-2's, hang tight, there were several of us approved mid last week. CSC should start approving the rest of you very soon. Good luck to everyone.

  2. seems like CSC is just going nuts...

I hope and pray to see a touch or even an approval tomorrow morning when I get up!

    That would be amazing...

I have to admit, I'm getting quite impatient here!

kiwie, check CSC late at night too, many of us didn't see a touch or get our NOA-2 notification until after 8:00pm. Apparently there are people who work late updating the records.

I certainly understand being impatient. Hang tight, you'll see your approval soon. CSC is really cranking them out now. Yesterday was the biggest day for NOA-2's for a long time. Igor's list is showing 8, and there are probably a lot more because some have not updated their timelines.

We're all pulling for you and the remaining June filers.

  3. Yahooo! Congrats RyDa! I'm happy for you guys. I'm hoping i will get our approval soon. Cheers!

Thanks! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and the rest of June filers! Hopefully, this fruitful day at CSC is the beginning of a very productive stage for all the filers. I really wanna believe that!

Chunsan, looking at your NOA-1 date, your due to see something any time. I wouldn't be surprised if today isn't your lucky day. CSC was on a roll yesterday and they should finish out the week strong. Good luck and we are wishing all June filers the best.

  4. HEy does anyone know what happend to igors list?

it's gonna be ok pretty soon. Perhaps it is not used to handle so many approvals at once, so it crashed.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Dasha, Congratulations!!! It was a very good day at CSC.

They sure kicked it in gear, let's hope for more June filers seeing their NOA-2's tomorrow.

And a big thanks to everyone who has been so supportive, it has really helped. And for those of you still waiting, it will happen.

  5. Hey! We're out of the way too!

Jeff&Olga - we had the same message today on our case! Nov. 13, 2008 - approval notice sent!!!!!

    :wub::yes:(L):dancing:

Sigh. I'm so happy. As you can see in our timeline and my signature.. we were touched the 10th, 11th, & 12th.. then approved the 13th! The 10th was the address change that I had to put through..for the 2nd time in the last couple months. I think that really kicked them into gear on our case!

To everyone still waiting.. try to be patient! I know it's hard, and as others have said, it's much easier to say "be patient" from this side of the approval line. I was pulling my hair out and so depressed..but once you start seeing touches it's so exciting!

How long does it usually take NVC to send off packets? How long does it take to get there? We were thinking about a month to get through NVC and to the Frankfurt embassy.. is that correct? He's going to look into his papers needed for Packet three (he has all info just has to go get the paperwork from various places) and I'm going to get the affidavit done this next wednesday, my next day off.

Hopefully he'll have an interview in January at the latest... that way he will have plenty of time to finish/finalize things in Germany and move to the States end of Feb/beginning of March. AND the approval now bodes well for our wedding to go on as planned - March 27, 2009!

    OH! I'm sooooooo happy.

It's about *@#&(%^ time that CSC started approving us all. Hugs to those still waiting! And please, everyone keep up to date on here!

I have to do an address change, does anyone know what form to use? this change of address is for the foreign fiance

Congratulations mnmarty03 on your NOA-2. Your right, CSC is starting to pick back up. Let's hope and pray those still waiting will see their approvals very, very soon.

  6. is everyone in JUne approved yet?

is there a few ppl left?

Not sure how many June filers are left, but you can scratch one more off.

I just checked our case and ---- Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On November 13, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

First touch we had was yesterday and the second touch was today. BTW - we were # 96 on Igor's list.

Dasha, we are out of your way, your next.... Good luck to everyone still waiting.

  7. Hey, annax!

How is it going for you guys? Is the journey smooth and pleasant now? ;) Unlike the neverending wait for the NOA2?

Its going good! Everything seems to be moving forward now. I just called the NVC and were through that stage and shipped off to Sydney as of yesterday.

I've finished my papers (affidavit of support) mailed those off Monday, we ordered the police certificate, now we are just waiting on packet three. I sent off a provisional file request (at some consulates you can fax this request off so they send the paperwork out before they receive the paperwork from the NVC), so hopefully he will get those sooner then normal.

Were trying to hurry things along because we were planning to have me attend the interview as well. I'm really hoping we can time this around Christmas so that we can spend the holidays together as well as have the interview. So it means we are basically looking at trying to time the interview around 4 weeks between dec 15 - jan 9. I really hope it works out!

So good to hear you've got so much going on now!

I really hope you do manage to arrange everything so that you two can spend the holidays together. The more happy couples in the world - the better the holiday spirit will be! :star: :star: :star:

Anyway, good luck to you guys! Don't forget to drop in every now and then - I guess all of us, Junies, will stay in this thread throughout the rest of the process. So keep us posted!

    Cheers!

    Dasha.

Yes, please keep us informed on your progress and let's hope the recent "touches" mean that good things are going be be happening real soon for all of us who are waiting on their NOA-2's. BTW - Are you feeling better now Dasha?

  8. hey...

I'm getting anxious here. I've been reading your guys post over the last couple of weeks, checking the USCIS website several times a day (but you know how that goes!)

We haven't had a touch since 06-30-08 and of course part of me is worried that they lost the file or something is wrong.

So after just reading I decided to write some and join you guys in the process of waiting!

Good luck to all of us and lets hope we'll see more people get their NOA2 this week!

    Hey there! And welcome!

You and I had the last touch on the same day. Hopefully, both of us will see another one followed by approval in no time :-)

I was also thinking our file was lost since we hadn't received a touch until last night. Your NOA-1 is only a couple days behind us kiwie, so you should see something happen real soon.

Dasha, did I understand correct and your had a touch too?

We're hoping for a very good week for CIS filers.

  9. gosh jeff, i hope u get your noa2 soon cuz its overdue!

and it just pushes our noa2 date back further :(

Haha! I got it now! You are just being selfish. And I used to think, "Oh, how nice of this guy/gal to stop by and wish us luck". But all you want is your own NOA2, and we are just in the way!

Well, nothing wrong with that, my friend! We are all the same here. And I am happy for everyone who gets approved not only cuz it's good for them, but because it's good for us too.

Good luck to you! You are a good spirit!

LOL haha something like that, but i mean sure i dont mind seein people get happy here with their NOa2s :D

Nothing here, anyone else? There are several of us who are soooo close, I can feel it. Let's hope for a strong week at CIS.

    Good luck everyone!

anyways, have u gotten touched yet?

  10. It would be interesting to know just how the approval process really works. What happens to a file once it's received? Etc.....

You might want to check out this thread then.

    Link---->What happens on the inside

It's from a former USCIS adjudicator who also went through the K-1 process and offered some interesting insights as to what happens to our files once they hit the service centers.

RBAL TN - Thanks for providing the link, it was so informative. I wish I'd see than and read it before.

mnmarty03 - It's great to hear you received a touch today, especially since it is a Federal holiday. Please keep us informed once your case is approved. For each case that gets approved, means ours is one step closer.

annax - Thanks so much for giving those of us waiting hope that "ours" will be the next case approved. Your thoughts and encouragement are much appreciated. You noticed your approval at 8:00pm? Wow! Someone was working late....

Dasha - We hope your feeling better and that Ryan and yourself are together very, very soon.

Good luck to everyone waiting for their NOA-2's.

  11. I know this is sad being the person following and preceding own posts (better put - pathetic :) ), but you guys, is the USCIS web site running ok for you? I haven't been able to open it for the last 30 min. And I know, it is the middle of the night in the lovely city of Laguna Niguel, where my file is resting on someone's desk, but hey, the adjudicators will soon awake, and I wanna be able to be a freak again and check the status of our case every 15 min :P

The USCIS site is working fine for me @ 5:50am Pacific time. Well, fine is stretching it since it still say's "Pending"...... It would be interesting to know just how the approval process really works. What happens to a file once it's received? Etc.....

The wait is difficult, no doubt for all of us, but we will all get our NOA-2's.

About the only thing that keeps me sane during this is I remind myself that my Princess and our future life together is worth the wait... That might sound corney, but it's true.

I wish everyone who is so patiently (or impatiently) waiting, a quick approval and the best of luck.

It works for me too now. Geez, being sick sucks - I have nothing else to do but go nuts

Thanks for your support, Jeff ))

P.S. The princess part was not corny - I liked it. And I'm sure Olga would love the fact that she's your princess. I'm sure she already knows that :)

And thanks for your support too Ryan. I don't think anyone who has not gone through or is going through this process has any idea how difficult the wait is. Not sure about you, but I find it even harder the closer we get. Thinking "maybe they lost our file", "maybe our file is too think and no one wants to review all the pages", etc.....

But I'm sure everything is just fine with your file and ours. They are both sitting on top of the pile waiting to be picked up and reviewed within the next few days. Our NOA-1 dates are pretty close, so we should both be approved about the same time.

Sorry to hear your not feeling well, hope your better soon. BTW - When was the last time you visited Dasha?

Hey... Not sure what would be the best way to put this.... But I am Dasha :) Ryan is sound asleep not that far away from the USCIS guys, over in Orange County.

But as far as the rest of what you said goes - hey I second you on every word. "The case must have gotten lost" stage is blooming and rapidly progressing with me now )) But then I calm down and realize - there is a BUNCH of ppl who have been waiting longer, so thats OK. Even you guys.

We'll get approved sooner or later (better - the former), so I'm positive minded today (yet, a bit obssessive )) ).

As for the last time we saw each other - that is the sad part - a little over a year ago. So it is very crucial we get aproved ASAP, before I forget what my fiance looks like! ROFL

Hello Dasha, thanks for clearing that up, it is certainly better to know who I'm responding to. And I hope that your feeling better soon.

Your correct, there are people who have been waiting longer than us and I feel for them, I really do.

Sorry that you haven't seen each other for over a year. That is very difficult --- So I truly hope that your the next one approved at CSC so you and Ryan can be together as soon as possible.

Wishing you and all of us who are waiting the best.

    - Jeff

  14. hi all

conratulations for all of thos who got thier NOA2

we are 23 june 2008 we use lawyer

we didn't get our NOA2 yet

    should we start worry?!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't start worrying yet... We're May filers and we're still waiting....

We are seeing some July filers getting their NOA-2's from CSC, this is fantastic and I'm happy for them, but there are a number of May and June filers that have not heard a peep.

Does anyone know how CSC actually handles the cases for processing NOA-2's? I mean it's supposed to be according to the date they are received, but obviously this is not accurate.

I'm still feeling this week will be productive for all of us who are so patiently waiting.

  15. HEy guys IM happy for the recent approvals, But has anyone else in June been touched or approved today?

Please let us all know, WE july filers are right around the corner. i wonder when they will start on us

i've been getting pretty depressed lately. i'm right after villaspurs on the list and nothing. at all. nada. zilch. zero. no touch, no email, no hardcopy in my mailbox. nothing. nothing. nothing. have i said nothing yet? yeesh. and only 3 approvals so far this week.

sent 6/19, received 6/20, nao1 6/23. who knows. if the 130-140 days holds i'm probably looking at mon/tues at the earliest. whatever.

i hope we get to you guys in july soon... i really do.

There have been more people touched this week, just lots of them are RFES. Look in the timelines and look for people whove recently updated 10/27 - 10/30, you'll notice a few RFEs -- they dont show up with an RFE in the main column until they reach the RFE reply stage. Also if you do a visual scan on the CSC list you will see there are a LOT of RFEs coming out of Cal may/june people.

Other then that, it has been a pretty slow week. I wouldnt get too down though, we often get most of our updates late at night updates for some reason (I think because there are a lot of oceanic filers who post on Visa Journey).

Also we frequently get lots of updates coming through later in the week, fri, sat and then the past week on mondays.

It does look pretty slow, but I think it wont be as awful as it appears now.

I think your right Annax, it should only be a little while longer for those of us that are June filers. We have the same NOA-1 date as you Michael&Guli. And we haven't had a touch either, but let's hope Friday will be a big day for all of us.

Good luck to everyone who has been waiting so patiently.

  16. ok and to add evidence (and really to make myself feel better about the low approval rates coming from Cal lately) I looked over a few of the member profiles from early june. There are a good number of people with early June dates who havent logged onto this site in months. (were talking june, july, aug as the last log on time). So I suspect the approval numbers just look really dismal for Cal, when perhaps they arent as bad as they seem. Perhaps a number of people dont come back and update.

It's easy to get frustrated while we are on the home stretch waiting for the NOA-2. Villa, they touched your file for a reason and I suspect you'll get your approval soon, hopefully by the end of the week. Please let us all know when you do, so we can celebrate with you.

Ours hasn't been "touched" since the NOA-1, so a touch would be nice to see, but at this point CSC can kick me in the head.. Just let me know our file isn't lost or buried somewhere.

We will all get there, but man this wait is brutal..... good luck to all.

  17. hey well i have a good feeling that next week is the week forsure! hope they finish june by next week too!!

Woo-hoo!!! I was expecting a RFE because I did not put "N/A" in any blanks, but to my surprise, as I checked the USCIS

web site for the millionth time:

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

    Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On October 23, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

    THANKS VJ!!!!!

    Cheers,

    Scott

Congratulations Scott-n-Vlada. We are 3 behind you on Igor's list. Today marks 4 months since our NOA-1, so we are hoping for a lot more June filers to receive their NOA-2's soon.

Good luck to everyone who is patiently waiting.
