Hello, My name is Augustine Gold and I fall under F2A visa category.I got my appointment package yesterday and while going through it, I Saw the checklist of documents required to be taken to the interview venue{Embassy} and I noticed that Police report was included yet again. Nvc had already received the police report together with other original documents when I forwarded form DS-230 I and II. My question is do I need it again for the interview?

My appointment package arrived yesterday evening and the interview date is January 23rd, 2009.I am in F2A visa category and I'd waited for 4 years and seven months to be precise. My priority date is may 3rd, 2004. I want to use this medium to encourage Applicants in my category and other applicants that have waited for so long to hang on. Never give up.I feel very happy.

Hello, I want to know if there is anyone in the forum that has received his/her appointment package and if so,when and what is the priority date. The reason why I am asking is that I want to be certain of when to expect my appointment package. My priority date is May, 3 2004 and the priority date being treated is April 1st 2004.I want to know if the package will be received before the priority date is reached or after the priority date is reached.

In that case, you should get your appointment letter pretty soon, say in the next one month or December at the very latest.

Affidavit of support must have been submittted by your petitioner. When NVC receives your DS-230 forms with other civil documents submitted by you, it will be reviewed and if anything is missing, NVC will still get intouch with RFE, but i. not, then NVC will wait until visa number becomes available.Right now, the priority date being treated for your category is 15th of November, 1997.So keep an eye on the monthly bulletin to know when visa number is likely to be available for you.

send the originals as requested. I also did the same thing. They'll give you back your originals on the day of your interview.Do not send the notarized ones as they would still insist you forward the originals.Goodluck.

It's very correct. He cannot process any other form of non-immigrant visa because immigrant visa had already been applied for him.He has to wait in BRAZIL until his immigrant case become current.I'm sorry but that is just the way it is.

Hello, i'm the guy whose4 question you answered this morning on the above subject. Please I'll appreciate if you could interpret all you said in English because i didn't understand all you said in your local language. thanks.

After sending the AOS bill, it takes between 10-15 working days before you receive the instruction to download the AOS forms. You cannot send the AOS unless you receive the instructions.Doing it will amount to delays in treating your case.Don't worry, the reason why you haven't gotton the reply about it is because the payment is sent to a different office. It takes somedays to cash the money.I'm also in your category but I'd passed through your stage.I'm awaiting my appointment package now.Hope this helps.

My appointment was fixed for 23rd of January, 2009 at American Embassy in Lagos. It was a 7:00am appointment.I got there around few minutes to 6am.I was checked in around 6:30am and was seated before 7am.I was called in around 7:15am and was asked to provide the two passports required and also to submit my international passport. They gave me back the passports I submitted when I forwaded the form DS-230 and was asked to sit down and wait for the interview proper.Although, the interview for all immigrant applicants started around 8:30am. It's wasn't until 9:35 that my name was called.I was asked to take an oath which I did. Then, the next thing was thumbprint with both hands and then the real questions started. The following questions were asked:
1} when, how and where did I meet my wife?
2} when did she travel and how did she got to the U.S?
3} when did we got married?
4} where does she work?
5}How many times has she visited?
6} where did she stayed when she first got to the U.S
7} finally, few pictures taken with my wife.
After all these, a blue form was given to me and was told that my visa has been approved that I should come for the pick up on Feb 2nd.I feel so happy that the journey has come to an end after waiting for 4years and 8 months.Thnak God fo
