we just picked up the green card from our PO Box. Looks like USCIS system was accurate.

My List:

Initial Filing:

Copies of the green card, driver license, social security, and student ID cards for my wife..

• Copy of the tax transcripts of our 2009 and 2010 joint US tax return.

• A letter from my company of the designation of my benefits to my wife.

• A copy of our car finance summary, showing joint ownership.

• A copy of our Retail Installment Sale Contract for our car purchase.

• A copy of car insurance card. (I am excluded due to high cost of insurance)

• A copy of our Vehicle Registration Card showing joint ownership and common address.

• A copy of our Vehicle Registration Renewal Notice showing joint ownership and common address.

• A copy of our Mastercard and credit card statement showing a joint account.

• A copy of our hotel reservations for our Las Vegas trip in September of 2009 and April of 2010.

Received letter for an interview. We waited for about 2 months then we contacted our congresswoman to help ask for more info from USCIS. Then we received a txt and email saying that they ordered the greencard.

looks like USCIS spent a couple of bucks to upgrade their computer systems. I'm not sure how accurate it is until I get home tonight...

I received an update on the USCIS website but it doesn't say approved but it says the following:

On May 23, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Decision circle and Post Decision Activity circle is gray.

Anybody know what that means?

We were supposed to have an interview and are still waiting for an interview date.

That is a pretty important event and *may* qualify for an expedite. Try your luck.

This is not an important event and does not qualify for expedite. You will also need to add another person on your I-134. So if you are earning barely enough then don't have a kid yet...

We are not worried about the interview, we just hate driving to downtown LA....

just received a letter today saying the case was relocated and we will be having an interview. This seems like a never ending drama...

For 2012 it will be $18,913 for 2 people..

It's a one way trip my friend.. Once u leave your home country you won't be able to go back until adjustment of status.. So return ticket is not necessary.

We recently got an rfe and I don't remember them providing an envelope. We used the big ones from the USPS.

When did you send your response?

The noa1 is your approved extension letter, go back to the DMV and speak to a supervisor or manager. We went to the DMV with a DL that expired 4 months ago and they did not give us any problem with our noa1..
