Does anyone know of any good links to Arabic movies with English subtitles? Watching Arabic movies with my habib is less than interesting if I have to ask him to constantly translate...

I sometimes will make up a story line in my head, but I imagine my stories are not nearly as clever as the originals!

Ok guys I have to vent this, because I am losing it here. Why do people think Obama is a Muslim? Of course he is not, but even if he was a Muslim, what does that have to do with running for President of the United States? What happen to separation of church and state, I guess the constitution doesn’t mean anything anymore to the people. The outright prejudice of Muslims is nasty in this country. I am not religious at all, but in this country, I thought that we can have our own personal faith without prosecution, but maybe I was wrong, because I just saw some videos my daughter sent me and they were asking people about Obama, and they were saying he was raised Muslim, I am like WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH THE ELECTION??????? I also heard from some people his name is not WHITE ENOUGH. I am really shocked at the ignorance of a lot of people. The funny thing and the sad thing is that the poor man is Christian, and his own people are calling him a Muslim. I guess if you are Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, and just plan atheistic, you are not really an American. Sorry about this rant, but I hate people who hate someone just because of a religion or culture, I thought we came a lot farther than that, but I just feel like slapping some of these people. I just want a president that can get America back on track, if it is through a Muslim, so be it, because we should have separation of church and state, but as we all know since the Patriot act the constitution just doesn’t guarantee your rights anymore. Ok, done with my rant, what happened to civil rights and treating all people fairly, oh I am sorry doesn’t count unless you are white middle class Christian.

Personally i don't think that's an good thing to look at whats his background , color , religion and race .

Lets think of what he can do for USA and for the whole world . Everyone looking forward to see this world lives in peace and happiness without wars , diseases , injustice.

I agree with sister Tamara about our kids in the future , that everyone has their own thoughts and opinions , so our kids could pick any religion they like , All what we can do just raise them so well , teach them our cultures and thoughts and religions and they have the choice to choose !

I'm so excited I just have to share this with everyone. I managed to convince my work to give me the time off to go visit my husband. It will only be for two weeks, but I'll take whatever I can get. I will go next month so now I've just got to buy the ticket! This waiting has made me crazy and not seeing him for so long. He was excited when I called and told him. Thank God the ticket prices have gone down since the summer though they are still a little higher than last year.
