We've been together for 7 years back in the Philippines. We filed for a fiance visa after finishing our studies. But when she started working here (july this year), she met someone else. She said that she's not in-love with me anymore. She said she still loves and cares for me that she wants to help me stay here. But how can I legally stay here if I'm not with her?

Hi, I recently got married and I've been here in the US for 3 months now. We filed for AOS the last week of Nov. But I still haven't received my biometrics and interview date. My problem is that my wife doesn't love me anymore because she has found someone else. It is really so painful and I don't know what to do anymore. I got here through a fiance visa, we got married and filed for AOS. To what I understand, if the marriage won't work then I must go home so I won't be permanently ban here. I want to stay here for the sake of helping my family but at the same time I'm scared of the consequence of staying here. What should I do? Please help me because I'm really so confuse and miserable.

great, i was already near the ssa bldg in NY but i had to meet the lawyer to seek advice but he told me the wrong thing. i'll just go find another one that's near here in NJ. oh i can file on any ssa office right?

yea i got here with K1 visa. so i'll just show them my I-94? on the application for a ss card, should i check "legal alien allowed to work" or "legal alien not allowed to work"?

hi, i've been here in NJ since oct 5. i just dont know if I can get a ssn. i asked one lawyer here if i can apply for it but he said that ssa wont give me the ssn because im not married yet, they will need a working permit if i want to have one. is my I-94 not enough?

hi guys, i was planning on booking a ticket (economy) this coming friday or saturday on northwest website. I dont know if this is the cheapest. Just have a couple of questions..

1. do they really require 50 lbs only per luggage? i remember before that my fiancee usually put 70 lbs on hers.

2. i know they only allow up to two carry-on luggage, i'm bringing a small luggage and a back pack but i also need to bring as a hand carry the x-ray i had at st lukes together with the vaccination sheet...o and also the brown envelope that my visa came with. will that be considered as another hand-carry?

3. any idea how much money i need to bring to pay at the airport, etc?

please enlighten me...i'll very much appreciate it.

hi guys, i got my k1 visa a week ago and i was planning on booking a flight 1st week of oct. my fiancee stays in georgia but i just found out that she has to visit her parents in florida by the 2nd week of oct. so if i'll be staying in georgia, can i also come with her to florida? we arent married yet so i dont know if im allowed to leave and go to other places. please help me with my situation.

Tried calling nso before but i got tired coz pj always tells me that he's just by himself and he wont be able to finish his work if he entertain callers. richard got an accident of some sort. does he still say this excuse or he mellowed down a bit?

nope i think you're approved! you're just under Document Verification..it's because you've paid just weeks before your interview..i paid mine a month before so it will be processed early..i'm not sure for others, but it worked on mine.

hi guys, i was trying to call the usem a while ago (3012000 loc 5184) and finally somebody answered. i asked the lady that i'll inquire about my case status but then she keeps on saying for me to call the call center. she asked me if the petitioner is sick so i said no. and then she said that they will only entertain callers for the reason like that.

are they like this now?

may binigay din sakin na white paper un girl sa window 37, may nkalagay na under section 221 g. pro wla naman nakaindicate o check sa mga lists. dun sa bandang ibaba sa "what to do next" may x mark lang dun sa "your next appointment" saka medyo sa itaas ng line na un nakahandwritten un "DOCx1".

U are approved coz u got pink slip and u paid visa delivery fee.Yung white slip i think baka wala pa result ng document verification mo kaya binigyan ka ng white slip.Much better if u will call them.

hello i am new here and i am on a k1 visa. I finished my interview at US manila embasy last aug 19, 2008. The lady at window 37 only gave me a pink slip attached to my appointment letter w/ a stamp “bios f/s done”. She said to pay for the visa delivery fee at delbros. After I paid, delbros gave me a receipt with a visa tracking no.

the lady at window 37 also gave me a white paper (under section 221 g.) but there are no indications or check marks on the list. There’s a portion at the bottom that says “what to do next”, it had a x mark on the words “your next appointment” but slightly above the line, they wrote “DOCx1”.

I don’t know the meaning of these things. Did I pass? Its been 2 weeks but still I haven’t got my passport. I wanted to call but I reall cant afford it. Please enlighten me. Tnx.

yes kinuha nila. di ako hiningan ng letters at cards, dahil ba meron na kami nasubmit noon pa nagcmula mag apply? pics lang tinignan, saka sa window ko na lang pinakita un album namin kasi malaki. ibinalik din un mga pics bandang huli pero un passport nasa kanila na.
