im getting fed up with other people getting processed quicker. i sent in I129F, and it was recieved on 2nd june.

Current Status: Case received and pending.

surely this is not fair, im thinking of forgeting about this whole k1 and just get married its not a fair process.

hi.. i also came here on a tourist visa and adjusted status from that after getting married.. please refer to my signature.

we also didn't hire a lawyer. we just refered to the guidelines provided by VJ and everything went ok.

did you get married while on a tourist visa, and then re-adjusted your status when you left the country. some confusion here, as is it ok to marry on a tourst visa and then leave, and then re-adjust your status when you have left the country. im thinking of getting married in jan, then leaving, and then apply for aos, and dont come back untill it is finalised.

have you any ideas what the best way is.

Thanks for the advice, i will try to call them. We tried to call them once but they were asking for a confirmation number which we dont have!! I'll try calling them again and hopefully ill be able to get through to someone this time around. Thanks again!

I'm a U.S. citizen and I sent a I-129F form to apply for my fiance's K1 visa in May. I still havent heard anything yet and have yet to receive a confirmation number. I am particularly worried as I sent the application fee of $455 and havent heard anything. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do next?

see if your check was cashed or call uscis and ask if you are in the system ....tell them when you sent in your I-129F...they will answer your

questions and if it is there they will give you your number and current status.....you should have heard something by now....don't be
