do the tax returns and or tax transcripts need to be notarized? if so can you use notarized copies? i'm kinda confused here on this, my fiance is in peru if this makes a difference. thanks

yippee......today we received packet 3 and 4 (kinda weird both showed up the same day) and have a interview date of March 13

didn't cause a problem for me (don't have the visa yet but went through uscis with no problems) and my ex-wife was here illegally when we met (13 years ago) i was told to explain this on the I-129f form on question 11 as this did pertain to my situation. good luck and don't worry about this, just have good proof about this relationship.

We have a single question ... We got an RFE on december 29th 2008, We sent it back to the CSC last friday "January 10th"... Does anybody knows how long can it take to get the approval or I -129 NOA2 now? If maybe someone has had any similarv experience... We would be thankful to receive any comment(s) ...

got my RFE dec 19th they received jan 5, i haven't heard anything yet but i've seen on here that some people don't get an email or a touch but the noa2 shows up. good luck

an update...got a email from CRIS friday stating I-129 approved so maybe you will be approved next week, i think my fre was about a week ahead of you. Good luck and don't stop praying for it.http://www.visajourney.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/good.gif

just wait patiently for the letter, i imagined every possible scenario and it was just simply they needed a copy of my first divorce decree. the flip side is everything else is in order. good luck

Ugh...it looks like this is going to be a long weekend for me! A touch on Wednesday and now NOTHING!! What could they be doing with our file??? So exciting for all those that have been approved already!! Congrats to everyone!!

well it could be worse, i got a touch on Wednesday an today got an email that they are sending an rfe, but i have no clues as for what. i'm just praying it's something stupid like i forgot ti fill in a line

I spoke with an immigration officer today about a similar question, i've never filed for a visa before, but my ex was an illegal living here when we got married and i think it was an I-485 we filed, anyways the officer told me to put it down as a yes and give an explanation of the situation. hope this is helpful

I don't know what to put here my exwife was an illegal living here when we got married...so i didn't file for a visa....but we did file to get her to resident alien.....anyone have a clue what to do on this one?? thanks
