  1. Well I sent off my I-751 application late May 2008, had biometrics in July and nothing happened till November 18th when I got a new message online saying it had been transferred to a USICS office. Again no change till I checked it on 6th March and saw I had a touch on March 1st and then today I log on at work this afternoon and see the following message:

    Current Status: Card production ordered.

On March 13, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

    No RFE, no interview, :wow:

  2. I filed my application at the end of May, had my biometrics and hadn't heard anything since a notification saying I had been transferred to VSC. When I checked my online status the other day, there was this update from November 13th. Any ideas what exactly this means if anything?

The CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office.

  3. Well I mailed my I-751 application to the Texas Service Centre on the 23rd May, the day USCIS released their update and it was signed for on the 27th, my check was cashed on the 30th and on the back of the check it looked like there was a receipt number written on the back as it starts with SRC which is for Texas, so it looks like I will be transferred to Vermont which is even slower than Texas if I understand correctly :crying:

  4. Thanks, I just couldnt believe that after all of that it was less than 10 minutes in an out and didnt seems interested in anything we brought down with us, just an yes you are approved as long as nothing comes up against your name when i run it later in day.......which obviously nothing will and I can apply for citizenship in 3 years if I want. Makes you wonder why all that time and expense for under 10 minutes. But at least it is over with now!

  5. Well after applyinf first for my Fiance visa in April 2004 and getting married in February 2005, we had our interview today in New Orleans, it meant a 3 hour drive from Jackson, MS to get there for our scheduled appointment of 11:30am (we arrived at 9:45am leaving at 6:40 nnot wanting to risk traffic on way). Anyway once our name was called at 11:50am we swore an oath to tell the truth.....they had lost a biographical page of my application so I had to fill out another.....for some reason I put maritial status as divorced.....then when she pointed it out I changed it to single......well we all had a laugh, I couldnt remember at what point I had filled out the silly form!! Anyway we showed her last years IRS forms, bank statements, marriagbe certificate, photo's.....which she barely skimmed over.....went away and photocopied some things then came back and said she couldnt run the name check as the system was down but would by the end of the day and I was approved other than that..........and I know there will be no problems there......so 28 months of paperwork, waiting and expense came down to less than 10 minutes and I was told I was approved and in 21 months to apply to remove the conditions on my residency and i would recieve my green card/conditional residency card in 2 weeks!!

  6. I finally recieved my interview date at the Metarrie, New Orleans Office. It is the 18th August. i initially sent of my I485 forms in March 2005 and am now just getting to this. Well I say that, well on the 11th July 2006 I recieved a letter in the mail asking me to attend an interview on the 6th July 2006!!! I went to my local office in Jackson MS and they told me to send them a note saying I recieved it after the date and after a few weeks I got my new interview date....here is hoping that all goes ok. Any advice on what to take with us is welcome!!!!

  7. Where do I send my EAD Renewal application, I am waiting on my AOS through the New Orleans office and I have been told they are 6 months behind, they are processing November 30th 2005 apparently and mine was November 10th but I have heard nothing. I live in Mississippi, do I send my renewal application to Texas Service Centre or Chicago?

  8. How can I tell where my I-485 is being processed, my receipt number begins with MSC and they recieved the additional evidence on 10th November 2005 according to their website, I assumed I would be processed at the Texas Service Centre as I am in Mississippi and see they are now processing 21st November 2005 presently yet I have not heard anything on my case and there has been no update on their website for my Case Status. I understand MSC to be the National Benefit Centre code and they do not process I-485 so where will I be getting processed is my question??
