Sorry you are having problems at the NVC. Hang in there. Things will get better. Best of luck to you and your spouse!

Hey, 000! I was excited to see that your spouse was from Belem same as mine. I was hoping you wouldn't mind sharing the details of the visa process experience with me. I have a lot of questions about the medical exam and hotels. Do you have any info on the hotels there in Rio? Also, do you know if the blood work and w-rays can be done in Belem and then taken to the medical exam? All info a

ad345, I am a little worried about your timeline. You petition should have been approved long before now. If you want it pushed through, you need to contact your congressmen ASAP! Good Luck!

CR-1/IR-1 is an immigrant visa for for a family member (spouse). I hope it your petition goes through in 3 months...but I also sent in the same I-129F petition to get my spouse here a little quicker...didn't work. It took 6 months and 10 days with the I-129F. As far as expedites go...it seems to depend on the agent looking at the case...some approve, some deny. I know that someone applied because of unserious already existing small medical issues and was approved for an expedite. Also some things to think about that may or may not help...some have t

Have you requested an expedite because your fiancée is pregnant? I hope the whole process goes quickly for you both. Best wishes and good luck.

I am so sorry...I know the wait is really difficult. My husband and I also struggle a lot. You deserve the best and you deserve all the happiness in the world. Things will get better. Have faith and never lose hope. I will also be praying for you amiga.

Oi! I was just thinking that if your papers to the USCIS were sent in March that was when the mailing addresses were changing. I was checking the forms and instructions before I mailed my papers so I saw a lot of changes and one was the mailing address. Just food for thought. I'm pulling for you guys...I know it's tough. Anyways, let me know how the whole process goes.
