  1. UPDATE:

The US consulate has scheduled our K3 interview on 18th March 2009.

But we are most likely reschedule it to mid-april 2009. Our CR1 is not complete yet and we are not sure whether it will be completed before 2nd week of Feb. 2009. So we will be part of March 2009 and likely get CR1 interview date in April 2009.

Has any one rescheduled K3 interview?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

    Regards,

    RJG2008

  2. My wife's K3 interview date is set for March 3rd, 2009.

I'm confused. you say her K-3 interview but your filing CR-1 in your timeline???

We are doing parallel process to get better interview date and since my wife already got interview date of march 3rd for I-129f, so As soon as my CR1 case completes at NVC I will request consulate to ask nvc to forward my case so I can use k3 interview date as cr1.

    waithatter,

I think as per LingChe's guide, it's NVC whom we can request to send our CR1 expeditely to the respective consulate, once NVC schedules an interview date for CR1.

Another logical reasoning presented in the CJ Vasani's thread ("K3 to CR1 flip unsuccessful") in IR1/CR1 forum was .... anyone would be eager to delegate the work to another person than ask for more work. So NVC would to eager to delegate the work to the consulate rather than consulate asking for more work. ;-)

  3. UPDATE:

    DS-3032 sent on Friday 16th January, 2009.

DS-3032 received by NVC on 20th Jan 2009.

It's very difficult to get Invoice Id # from NVC. No luck yet.

I guess, I'll have to wait till I receive the AOS bill and then send the AOS payment.

    RJG2008,

Nice to hear from you. I was just wondering about what happned to your case. It is hard to get IIN from operator. I think all operator at NVC got memo from there boss to not give out IIN over the phone. But dont worry you should be receiving AOS bill within day or so. Meanwhile keep all your paperwork ready for the next step so you wont be wasting anytime.

    Waithatter,

I have all the paperwork except my wife's PCC from Mauritius. We are submitting the set of documents, which we sent to Mauritius for PCC, to NVC. We have received confirmation from Mauritian Authority that they have received the PCC application and they have given us a tentative date when they can issue PCC. I have drafted a letter to NVC explaining to them the scanario and requested them to accept this as a proof of application for PCC. In the letter I had mentioned that I'll submit a scanned copy of PCC to them as soon as I receive the PCC from Mauritius and the original document shall be presented at the time of interview.

I hope they agree to this. I have read in one of the post that they were successful in this attemp and NVC was considerate enough to allow them to proceed on this path. Let's hope for the best.

I am also run into similar problem as ahmedabad passport office wont issue my wife pcc without interview letter. So, I drafted letter explaning situation to NVC and told them I will submit passport office pcc at the time of interview. Hopefully they will accept it and tell me my case is complete. LOL

Good luck to us and many eagerly waiting spouses.

  5. I call USEMbassy Manila while ago to verify if our case has arrive already but the lady told me not yet, huhh, maybe tomorrow i guess. Anyway my husband will call the NVC tomorrow(US time) to confirm if they already forwarded our case to our consulate here. We get approve last Jan 9, anyone has approve the same date with mine? lets get in touch. plsss

    Mamalou,

    Your husband can call 202.663.1225

    Option 1

    Option 0

He can tell them the I129F case # assigned by NVC and they should be able to tell you whether the consulate has received the petition.

  6. I've gotten 4 letters from NVC, all with different dates ranging from 1/9-1/15 stating that our k3 will be forwarded to the consulate "within a week"

anyone else get multiple letters like this? just curious

Yes, I did received 3 letters from NVC dated Jan. 12 (the date when my case was forward to the consulate) till Jan 14. Please refer to the posts within this thread.

well, appartently you cant go by the first dated letter, or the second, maybe not even the third :hehe: ...consulate still has not received our 129f as of today.

In my case, the US Consulate in Mumbai has received the letter and they have generated packet 3. My wife has not received it yet.

  7. We were approved on January 6th.. we recieved our NOA2 hard copy and two letters from the NVC, a few days apart from eachother. (??) I'm going to call them on Tuesday to ask if our case has been forwarded to London yet.. unless they're open tomorrow? (Don't think they are, but figured I would ask)

NVC office will be closed tomorrow. If you have the case # for I129F, then you can call 202-663-1225.

    Option 1

    Option 0

They would be able to tell you whether the petition / case has been received by the consulate in London. If "yes" then has the consulate generated packet 3 and has it been sent to the beneficiary.

    Good luck

  8. [

I received one more letter from NVC about the I129F. This is exact same copy of what I have received yesterday but the only difference is the date of the letter. Has anyone received this letter from NVC notifying the peitioner that the case has been transfered to the consulate where the beneficiary resides?

I am planning to call NVC tonight and ask them the reason I am receiving these letter.

On a lighter note ... may be they are taking a revenge (by sending these letters to me) of me calling them numerous times a day.

    RJG2008,

I don't think they are taking revenge only with you. Here are more people with the same experience .I also got the same two letter one dated 12 th and one dated 14th.Don't worry..we are with you.

    Savar

    Savar,

    Thanks for the update.

I did spoke with NVC customer rep. (on friday evening), she told me that could be some computer glich, which is sending multiple letter with the same matter. I feel they might be accessing our files, which generates letters after updating status. This is pure speculation based on my computer programming experience.

  9. UPDATE:

My DS3032 was generated yesterday (15-Jan-2009).

Although I called the NVC two times yesterday, I was not told that my DS3032 has been generated. I checked the AVR today morning, that's how I came to know that my DS3032 has been generated.

My wife sent the DS3032 via email and I submitted the DS3032 using USPS express mail today (16-Jan-2009). My wife had sent me DS3032 signed by her.

Now waiting for next phase ...

    FINALLY!!!

    Thanks buddy.

That is great! Do you ever get the rude people on the line? I always get jerks!

So far all the customer rep. have been very nice. Except once I got the same customer rep., she did mentioned that ... I did spoke to you earlier today. But yet she was polite.

  12. UPDATE:

I received another letter from NVC. The letter is similar to what I received yesterday except the letter date and USCIS receipt number.

Yesterday's letter had USCIS receipt number in barcode format whereas today's letter has USCIS number in english letters and numerals.

Still NVC has not generated DS3032. I wonder what's going on there? My petition was entered in the system on 8th Jan 2009. The operator as well as the AVR are providing me the standard reply of "allow 6 to 8 weeks for further notification".

Fellow Jan approved VJer, please let me know, if you were approved after 6th Jan 09 and your DS3032 has been generated?

    Thanks.

  13. ok questions

Does NVC assign case numbers for both i129f and I130? Called vsc today and as per AVR, there was a case number for I130 however none for I129F.

Also how do you know whether your K3 has been sent to consulate gotta talk to a live person?

    thanks

Yes, NVC assigns case # for each petition.

    Always talk to the operator.

When you call NVC you can provide them your USCIS receipt # for I129F and they should be able to tell you whether it has been assigned a case # and the case has been forwarded to the respective consulate. Also you should receive a letter from NVC notifying you that I129F with NVC case # has been forwarded to the beneficiary's consulate.

  14. UPDATE:

Mumbai consulate have received the case from NVC. Packet 3 sent to the beneficiary.

    RJG,

What's update on your DS3032? Did they say anything about being generated? Its been while man, keep on trying.

I called them today morning but no DS3032 yet.

When I called them yesterday, the operator asked me to confirm home address (after the standard questions about beneficiary, petitioner's name and DOB). I guess they are not telling me but they might be ready to send it by snail mail.

Could be. Check AVR to see its been generated.

    No update on AVR either.

  15. UPDATE:

Mumbai consulate have received the case from NVC. Packet 3 sent to the beneficiary.

    RJG,

What's update on your DS3032? Did they say anything about being generated? Its been while man, keep on trying.

Oh, this is all way over my head. LOL Ok, so my I-129F will get there soon after my case#. I called NVC and nothing is there yet on the automated system. Yesterday nothing was there according to the operator she said to call back in 90 days?

Automated system has a delay of may be a day. You'll get the most recent update only from operator.

The 90 days reply is the standard reply. Keep calling them with your I129F USCIS receipt #.

  16. Thanks for all who wished me. Now that both the petitions I 130 and I 129 f are approved for my wife,

I have no clue how to proceed from here. Please let me know step by step procedure in this regard or

any links that might be helpful for my NVC journey for I 130 and I 129 f.

    IndianDude,

Please join us in January approved thread.

Search for LingChe's guide for NVC process. That would be your starting point.

Call NVC at 603.334.0700 to check whether they have received your approved petition. Have your USCIS receipt # handy.

    option 1 (English)

    option 5 (Operator)

Each petition will get a different case #.

NVC does not input I129F in their system but does assign a case # and forward the same to the consulate.

Whereas I130 will be entered in the NVC system and you can track it's progress.

I hope this helps to start the process.

    Regards,

    RJG2008

    Thanks RJB2008

I did all that you told. They have assigned me NVC case number for I 130, but no case number

for I 129 f. The whole process looks so complicated and I am totally confused and lost ! Will

NVC send the instruction package to us ?

    Thanks.

    "Lost"dude

Until you get the case # for I129F, please start collecting the required documents and forms mentioned in LingChe's guide.

    Also review the NVC flowchart.
