Seems very quiet in here this week...No touch...No GC approval...

take is easy ,, u got your EAD ,, what do need a green card for now ,, ? what i see it wont change anything if u have it now that u got your EAD . forget it for now ,, it will be a good supprise when u find it in the mail oneday

So I was out today for a while...got back home...nothing in the mailbox..get in the house..check status online -they notify me that my password is expiring..set a new one..get in the portoflio : no changes...

open my e-mail and my heart stopped for a second...e-mail from CRIS...open the e-mail..just notifying me that I changed my password...

this day sucked to bad!!!!

ohhh myyyyy god ,, thats funnyyyyyyyyy ,,, the same thing could happen to me today too cause they kept asking me to change my password each time i want to log in my portofilio but i just hit the button change the password later ,,, he h e he ,,, sometimes i think maybe if i change my password they will be happy with me and start working on my case ,,it been sitting there since 20 th of june ,, and i m the one who did that only touch on it the 15th of july when i did my finger prents ,, i feeell sooo neglected by uscis

hehe..same here..my case was received on the 20th of June as well..next week on the 18th will be 90 days and I will call them...at least to get my EAD no touches on mine either since the bio...

well ,, i think the only information they will provide for u when u call them is the same u read each time you check your case status online ,, they ask your reciept number then they will read for u what your case status says again,, i did call them more then twice and i hear the same thing but the only therapy i hear from them is that my case is in the normal processing time ,,and also for the uscis the procesing time for aos for k1 and k3 holders is beteen 6 and 12 months ,,, so if u call and say i have been waiting for 3 month or 4 months or even 6 months they will be like : your case is in the normal processing time ,,,, the timelines they provide r comletely deffirent from what we see here in this forum ,, like the last time i callled them they told they r still working on cases of december 2007 ,, so i have to expect something withing the next 4 or 5 month ,, duaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh

is there anybody here who did not have the addtional shots for his medical here in the us and did not recieve a RFE yet ? just curious ....any ansswer will be so appreciated...

I didn't have any additional shots in the US and I didn't get an RFE I just sent my copy of the Medical I did when I went to get my K1 Visa

thank u for your answer , hopefuly i will not have an RFE alos ,,, this give me at least a little bit of peace of mind

We received our AP yesterday in the mail but no notice about our RFE just yet.

MOHAMED!!! You got an RFE also?????????? So, cases transferred to CSC do get RFe's on I 485! What in the world can these RFE's be for?? I know we didn't send in a certified copy of the marriage certificate because some said they didn't and got an approval and also we didn't have the immunizations transferred by a civil surgeon because again some didn't and got approval, I am figure it is one of these. I will keep you all updated as soon as we get the paperwork, I imagine it will be today or tomorrow.

hi ,, i m on a k3 visa ,, my noa dated 20 june and i my biometrics was done the 15th of july ,, since then i did not have any touch or any update or anything ,,, and me too i did not send a certified marriage contract, i sent only copies of the originale one and the translated one ,, and i did not have an other medical here but sent only the sheet i recieved at my medical in my country when i did the medical for mt visa ,,,but till now i did not recieve any RFE yet , plz let us now what type of RFE u got , maybe its one of that ones as u said ,, i just wont to be prepared ,, thanks

Received a letter in the mail today inviting my wife and I for an interview on September 29th in San Francisco. This is pretty lucky as our 2yr wedding anniversary is on September 23rd so we should be in line for a 10yr GC. There were no touches on the I-485 or I-130 since the biometrics appointment so this was a bit of a surprise.

hi chris , i did not have any touch on my i485 since the biometrics eirther ,, that was july 15th as i m a on a k3 visa i m expecting an interview lettre pretty soon ,, and the me aloso my 2 yr wedding anniversary is on september 9 that means if the gc gets aproved aftert that i will be qualified for a 10 yr gc ,, i just want to know if u r on k3 too ,, and i want to know your time lines so i can estimate when im getting my interviw letter .. thanks

Hi!! june filers....i just got my schedule for interview on october 22. i also had approved AP and EAD. I was surprised to received a letter from USCIS coz i did not have any touch in the online status. But i was so happy to received the notice. I am now preparing my papers for the interview.

I just hope and pray that everything would be good in my interview.

here is my timeline:

5-29-08 AOS, EAD sent to chicago

6-16-08 AP Sent to chicago

7-2-08 biometrics in Portland, Or

8-15-08 received approved EAD

8-18-08 received approved AP

8-27-08 received NOA for initial interview on october 22, 2008

thank u for your timelines i see that u had your biometrics a few days before me , so hopefuly i will get my interviw letter next week,,i had my biometrics on july 15 , but i already got my ead on december i filed for it september 2007 , i did not fil for aos cause we had to get the money togther so i filed only for ead andf i payed about 390 dollars for it ,, now that payed the 1010 dollars for the aos in june this aos is costing me 1349 dollars ,, but at least i have been working since december ,, i never filed for AP cause k3 visas dont need it ,, k3 visa is a 2 years visa and it allows u to travel outside the us and come back without advanced parrol required . by september 11 my marriage is is gonna reach its 2 nd anniverssary so maybe i will get the 10 years green card and never deal with the uscis again t ,,,anayway this is a conclusion of my aos journey ,, i hope your interviw is gonna be succeful ,, and i pretty sure it will be ,, as everybody know its just a quetion of waiting THATS IT ,,,

thank u for your reply Richo ,, from now and on i will be checking my email frequently and my case status online ,, i wish the best for everybody ,, by the way i already have my EAD i filded for it in september 2007 and got it on dec 2007 ,,me and my wife could not afford the 1010 dollars to fil for the whole process when the fee went up ,, so we filed only for the EAD an dthat cost us about 360 dollars or something like that ,,, we saved up some money and we just filed for aos ,, at leat i can beat this waiting time for my GC by spending the whole day at work

congratulaion to all june filers who recieved their GC or EAD and even to those who got transfered or got touches recently ,

my biometrics was done july 15 , and i still got no touch or anything ,, now i m worried i might got an RFE and did not get it in the mail ,,so my question is when the uscis send a RFE does that show on the case status online or not ? or do they send an email ? i wish they did not request any evidence that would be great to know that my case is a go and its just a quetion of waiting ,,

i m a june filer too ,, my first noa is dated 20 june ,, my biometrics was done july 15 ,,, the last touch i had was july 15 too ,, till today i did not hear anything or got any touch ,, maybe thats because i m on a k3 visa and the only thing to expect next is an interview letter,,,, an other thing since i did not recieve any RFE till today does that mean my case is a go or i might recieved a RFE if there is something missing with my case ? i appreciate any help from u guys or any information about any case like mine that u might heard about it somewhere around here ,, thanks
