my fiancee had her interview on march 24 but the co asked us to bring our chat records i submiited everything and on april 18 my case creation and case update date change to READY and still waiting and today my case update date change to april 26 still Ready anyone else experience this type of delays cause i see alot of ppl getting their status changed after READY

on april 24 my fiancee had her interview in US consulate kabul Afghanistan and she was asked to provide past 3 months chat record and we provided them and since april 18 my status went from AP to READY but hasnt changed yet i heard it supposed to move to from READY to AP and then issued but hasnt happened yet .

I emailed the embassy they told me

The consular officer reviewed your documents and we will process your case further.

im 40 and my fiancee in afghanistan is 20 the only question was asked her was Why your fiance is older than you and she replied that We are ok with it he loves me and i love him and the consular didnt say anything else

our case changed to from being in AP for 20 days and now its in Ready status i hope its a good sign though

I think your right they wanna see our future plan but the problem is always we discussed our future plans only on the phone or skype we only talk we chat sometimes like hi how ru ? Come online , call me these stuff , she cant writes english this is why we dont do chats alot

No the Embassy still have her passport , my fiancee sent her passport two weeks ago and still they asking regarding chat records and now asking for ongoing relationship between us .

Guys i been so nervious since the consular in Afghanistan asked my fiancee regarding the past 3 months chat records between us during her interview, and the consular told her to send the chat records along with her passport she sent her passport and the chat records but I got email again that still asking for more and asking now for more ongoing relationship evidence as well i tried to find more and i submitted today again for the 3rd time the chat record from skype, viber, our phone messages, thats all I had.

has anyone been through this situation please need your help .

i went to afghanistan a few months ago and then i got engaged on september 2013 in afghanistan while i was married in America and was waiting for my citizenship and then i got my citizenship on january 2014 and now i dirovreced my wife a few days ago so can i file for my fiancee in afghanistan or do i have to visit her again and then do engagement party everything once more and also i dont have money to travel again any suggestion any help

yes on form he said no they are not related.cause he was afraid according to US law he cant marry his cousin, and now the embassy found out they are cousins

When was his interview second did he check his case number status it's showing under AP or what ....

i dont know about his AP but they asked him second time for interview and the consulate said speak the truth cause we know the truth about you and your fiancee now and he spoke the truth now he said we are cousins we did not say it before cause we thought it will make problems, and the embassy gave his passport and his documents back after holding it for more than 3 months

well they said that they know each other from their mom s side they are mom s are friends but in fact they are cousins

i have a question from you guys i have a friend her husband had interview in afghanistan , but first on the interview he said they are not first cousins and they took his passport and after some investigation they found they they are first couisins and now the embassy returned his passport but did not give him the visa yet what is your sugestion for him he is so depressed now , will he get the visa or his fiancee should get a lawyer ,i know the state his fiance lives allowed first cousins marriage i dont know why they lied .

hi everybody i just have a few question before i apply for citizenship, im a us citizen spouse , we filed the past two years 2010 and 2011 taxes together but not the 2009 so do i have to send the copy of 2010 and 2011 taxes or 2009 too cause we didnt know nothing about taxes so i did seperate the 2009 cause i was working cash and i thought i didnt have to do it together. also i heard about selective service ...i entered the united states i was 35 years old so still do i have to registered for selective service cause i heard in the citizenship interview they ask about this ? and please what document do i have to send name all please thanks in advance guys

also you can just go to DMV put your name and your wife name on the car titles that really helps , i did this before two days to go to my interview.

i also going to apply for my citizenship but a few months ago i was arrested for disorderly conduct, second degree harassment and then it was dissmissed and sealed so guys you think is that gonna affect in my citizenship

I'll validate you! We received an RFE in October and it took me a month to gather what I "thought" they wanted. I sent over 6 pounds of paper to them. I highlited AND put notes all over it all, and I separated everything by colored paper. We got the text message last night - card production ordered.

If you didn't get an RFE, it's easy to brush this off and tell others to take it easy. However, having had an RFE - we freaked out. We are in our 50's and our lives are not as merged as other, younger couples are. We had to dig deep to find enough to send, thankfully - it was enough. Maybe the notes and highliting helped.

how come they updated your status , they never did to me i keep checking the uscis website it still shows the same things that they received my papers on july 2011 thats it , and i got RFE , they never updated i got interview they never updated yet

hi i have a question yesterday i had my ROC interview the immigration officer asked me if i ever been arrested and i said yes one time and i had the certificate of disposition with me at the time of interview i gave a copy that it states my charges was dissmised and sealed then after asking a few more questions and saw my papers and stuff she said everything looks good and your approved so you will get your green card in the mail but im worried now is my arrestment just for disorderly conduct isnt it gonna make a problem now ?
