... yes we are still waiting to be together, and once again held up by the US government...

We are in fact still awaiting our Visa, FBI is holding us up as we are waiting on a background check for Chris. He has been to visit them, and since we applied for it in OCtober, we are now in a special boat (once again), they seem to think that we will have it in a week or so, but ill believe it when I see it....

Sadly no celebration yet, still no word but we are on holiday till Wednesday so we have decided to not worry about it until we get back.

Sadly they lost our case so we have to refile, the only bit of that that feels ok is the fact that we are going to be able to expedite our case. Thank you for your wishes

Perhaps when we all get to the states the 3 of us (you, dani and I) can meet up and have a well deserved shopping therapy day

Here is hoping that the new year brings more success with USCIS then last year, your in my prayers.

Grats on your NOA2, however can you please change your year as at current it is telling us you got approved in 2009 and messing with all us waiting people's predictions.

lol yeah our NOA1 is MIA something serious, however they have confirmed that we are in the system (and resent it..) however they wont give us real answers over the phone. Chris has to go in (he has attempted this about 6 or 7 times now) but there is always another excuse or something happens before he even gets there .

Hopefully we will have some sort of answer this week.

Good luck with your flight/POE this week. Please let me know how it goes as I am considering trying in Feb/March if nothing has come from our petition

It bites, unfortantly the first 4 months is the hardest wait as you wont hear the whole will take about 6-8 months for the K3 but you can take solice in the fact that its not too rough in AUs (most of the time) from what I have read. If it helps check out the embassy reviews of sydeny to see what he will be in for when he rolls around to interview time.

Your hubby will have to fly up to sydney for his interview (only consulate that does it).

But there will be a doctor in melbourne that he can do his medical at, check out the sydney consulate to find the doctors they will accept.
