Hi,

Soon I will send my I-751 pack too, but I have some questions:

-on the Cover Letter at title I put Nature of Submission: I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, is that correct or shall I put RE:I-751? What did you write?

-also on USCIS site at TIPS.. is saying "Mark both the envelope and the cover letter as to the nature of the submission. Example: ORIGINAL SUBMISSION - BRIEF FOR AN APPEAL - RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - etc." ; so again what shall I put on envelop?

-and regarding bank statements, do I need to send more than one (Feb. 2011) , or do I need to send from 2010 too?

I think you have more than you need. I didn't have any lease, or joint house. All I had was joint bank account, electricity bill on my name too, photos, my name on his health insurance and that's all. And I just got my green card.

I received my marriage certificate in the mail too, after a few days from marriage. In our case the Justice of Peace took the license at clerk office, and they sent us the marriage certificate that we paid for it when we went to take the marriage license. I sent just copies at AOS, no certificated copy and was good.

Hi all,

I had my green card interview and all went great. Was very good and easy. Arrived there, waiting a lil after other 2 couples, got scared because the couple before us they were called separated (don't know why), but in our case they called us together. We had a man IO that was very nice, talking friendly. Put us to swear, asked the names, address, when we met, date of marriage, he asked my husband where he is working, he looked over some pics and in the folder with proofs, took my EAD and I-94, stamped my passport and said to wait the card in mail in a month or two. And that in 2 years I need to fill another form to go out from conditional to permanent. That was all!! Yay!!!

Congratulation!!! I am happy all went fast and well. I will have my interview on June 25th, I am nerves too, I am not sure what to take with me, we really don't have new proofs. I guess I will take all that I can, I printed some pics to do an album. Did you do copies too next to originals?

So you can see online Touch? I received my interview letter, but no touch for me online. So they for sure don't do updates.

SeptemberGold/Tuchy: I can view my I-130/I-131/I-765 but no I-485. Don't worry. Almost every second applicant is going through this. Some can view them all, some none. Since various offices are handling various applications its hard to tell. But rest assured, your cases are being processed. Touch means your application was recently viewed by the handling office. I would always like to add here that CRIS isnt always uptodate on their website when it comes to your applications. I have already received AP/EAD and it still shows as being processed online.

Thank you, yours must be on the way too; as we see, is like no logic in this AOS process. I was thinking being from Vermont , being a small state they moved faster, but also in San Diego and Phoenix, they moved fast too. So who knows why.

I received my interview letter today! Woohoo! It's scheduled for 6/4. I can't wait! It's pretty quick to receive an interview letter...only a month and a half after I filed my paperwork. I haven't received my EAD yet, but I know I'll get it soon.

I had my biometric appointment yesterday and I am exactly like you, I just have my passport and the new marriage name. I took all my USCIS letters (but they asked just of the Appointment Letter), my passport and my Marriage Certificate. At some point, they asked about the marriage certificate. You should be fine with that. Good luck!

I did my biometrics on April 17th, all went pretty good and fast. I checked my case online and I just see I485 and I765, nothing about I130. Can you check your I130 online?

Hey, I am Romanian too like you. I sent my AOS on March 25. Good luck!!!

I came with a B1/B2 visa from Canada (I am just a Canadian resident, not a citizen; I am Romanian citizen) on Sept 19, 2008. My I-94 was valid till March 19, 2009.
We got married on November 28, 2008 and sent " The package" on March 2nd, 2009.

On March 12, 2009 the check was cashed and March 13, 2009 i received NOAs for I-130, I-131, I-485 and I-765.

On March 16th I received the appoint. for biometrics (March 27th, 2009) but i went earlier and did it March 18, 2009.

I am still unable to check the status online using the MSC #. I did not receive anything else since biometrics appoint.

I received NOA for I-485 and I-765 and there is an A#, and is not the same with I-94 #. I was confused at beginning the same as you.

The number from I-94 is not the same as A number! In my I-130 form I put NONE for my A number; I am here on B2 tourist visa.
