Oh No!1! USCIS says VT is still processing last June!
-
BIOMETRICS NOTICE ARRIVED!!!!! We are scheduled for the 30th but will try to get in early. I hope the whole process goes this fast. I did put some pretty convincing evidence in there- in addition to the normal stuff we included pics of our home birth which had both of us in them. Now who would really let a "fake" spouse be a part of their birthing process.
-
NOA1 received!!!! Receipt date 11/03/2011. YAY! We became eligible on September 3rd but our son was born on the 6th,,,, needless to say we were otherwise occupied as well. I hope it goes fast!

Congrats everyone!!Xaenyth, Anya n Charles, Jenn and Nick, simbafuzz: how did you let Inky and BabylonFari slip in line ahead of you? You guys should get your approvals by the end of the week.
I know Greg, what is happening!!??? I am kinda losing my patience, do you think, it is late because of an RFE or something? There has been no touch and I am tired of looking for updates. My update is dead, not one since 3rd Nov.... It's 2 months, i.e 60 days since NOA
I am so worried, any ideas?
My AP still not showing online, its been 42 days since NOAHey we just got approved and we never had access to AP or EAD - I guess they just figured that since they were going to approve GC soon the would skip those so maybe same luck for you!
Ok Greg - you know what?!?I was so fired up & depressed when I read your post yesterday about other people getting their approvals before us that I stormed down to CSC and threatened to beat them senseless with my pillow if they didn't friggin approve my damn petition.
...and...
GUESS WHAT I GOT TODAY????

Is this approved already?????
YAY!!!! CONGRATS!!! And ditto on the no more government offices sentiments passed by others. I t will be so nice to have a break from this... except I'm already nervous about the Removal of Conditions because we will be in Africa when we have to file... and if THAT case is processed so fast there is no way I can come back for the interview.... I'll deal with that then. CONGRATS ALL!!!

Thanks for all the love and well wishes guys- I pray that everyone else receives their GCs soon!

I was at the library and got the text- rushed home. OH MY GOD!!!!! The funny part is that yesterday I was looking through the spreadsheet (thanks Greg) and realized that even though we hadnt got EAD or AP approval- nobody who got their GC had approval dates before ours so I felt a little less despondent. SO YEAH!!!! So yes a christmas present but even more so a Birthday present for me!!!! My birthday is Friday and my husbands is in January and I was hoping he would get his GC in time so that I could make plans to take him to Toronto for his brthday- NOW I CAN!!!! THANKS EVERYONE- LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!

Dear Eve, I can understand your frustration. It is hard to make ends meet, my husband has a good job, and I was dying to get this damn EAD to start work, even if it means doing some odd jobs. In this day, it is hard to get any kind of job, and I totally understand the pain. I am sorry, yes, we all can say, it will work out, don't worry.. but being in the spot is very difficult. I also understand Mike's position, especially with the winter drawing in, it is hard to keep the spirits up. Please do not give up or let your spirits down, please share your thoughts here. We are here for you, we all are going thro' this together - some days are good and some deplorable! I have my AP and EAD. and now I am stressed about job and the GC... once we get the GC and a job, I will be worried about that 2 year mark ... it seems like a never ending cycle... all we can do is be positive and take each day as it comes!
I guess, being an immigrant, is always hard... more so when the economy is down, and each day is filled with uncertainty.. am worried what if my husband loses his job or something, and me being a tug on.. we won't be even able to afford food, let alone the student loans and debt we both have! Everything is scary, but that doesn't mean, we will always be here... hopefully not! .. We all are here together, and as hard as it is, I am happy for those whose stuff is moving along and for those whose isn't .. I feel bad! I hope you feel a little better... Hoping times change and good things come to you and your husband, even for Mike. We should be able to make it! .. And to everyone in that spot, HANG IN THERE! We will row out of it together!!
Rebecca THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Your kind words really do make me feel better. I should know that I am not alone... and that things could definitely be worse- I remember how hard it was waiting to see if he would even get his K-1 (Guyana is a high-fraud i.e. high denial country). We were both so scared that he wouldn't even be able to get here. So... I am thankful for that! Just, thanks again Rebecca and the whole VJ (October Filers) community. You guys are amazing!
Eve
hehehe, BabylonFari, did you mean Thank you Simbafuzz??!! - - - as long as it helps
Still no word of my GC approval, and still no job
LOL- I am getting dizzy and confused from refreshing the VJ page so much and rereading all the posts... so YES- THANKS SIMBAFUZZ. Just knowin gI am not alone helps so much!

You know- THIS REALLY SUCKS!!!! I am really happy for all of you GC, EAD, and AP approvals but we filed before a bunch of you guys and we still can't even access EAD/ AP online and haven't had any touch on AOS in about a month. I really hate how they don't seem to work in order. Just ranting now but every post I see that says "don't worry you'll get yours soon" or "it looks like you'll get yours this weekend" really bothers me because we are almost at two months since NOA1 and over a month since we got BIO done.
All I can say is we are in the same fix. My wife did not file for the AP or EAD. The only thing we filed for was the GC. Our check cleared the bank on October 16th. We had the Biometric but (1) nothing since, (2) our MSC number is not listed online and so we have no clue if the I-485 has been touched. We wait on the US Mail and since October 23rd we have gotten nothing in the mail. There has been NO RFE. Since we were never transferred to the CSC I assume we need to go to an interview, but we have no clue when yet. Since Beth can't even get a learner's permit to drive until she get's her CG in Wyoming, (which is as rural as you can get,) she is completely dependent on me for everything outside the house. I can't even service my customers as to do that takes me away from home for days. We are a little stressed out.
Thank you Mike! I was feeling quite frustrated and alone. I am a part-time teacher and its getting harder and harder to pay the bills without my husband being able to work and he is getting really stressed out as this is the first time in his adult life when he can't work and its winter here in Buffalo so its too cold to really even do anything outside. So, thank you for sharing your struggle.
In solidarity,
Eve

I got-muh green card! I got-muh green card!

Congrats to everyone else!
Boy, lookin' at the September spreadsheet really helped to predict when this would hit. I called this timeframe 2 weeks ago, almost to the day, based on the average days in the September spreadsheet
FYI:I had had NO touches on my I-485 since October 23 until I got this email today. So don't panic if nothing seems to be moving.
WOOHOO!
WOW- I like the way this is moving... definitely since you haven't had any touches in FOREVER. Maybe we do have some luck! Did you also get EAD and AP? Just trying to see how all the successful cases look. Awesome anywho- CONGRATS AGAIN!

Congratulations to KateMunter, Mrs.Mountville and Anya&Charles!!
Hope this is gonna be a great month for all of us here.
DITTO!!!!!! Our timeline is only one-day off from yours Mountsville- with the exception of not getting the EAD and doinga walk-in Bio a couple weeks before scheduled 11/10 appointment. I'm hoping your GREAT adjudicator will work on some more of our October cases soon!!!!!
  CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still no approval or touches on my case... when will I get my EAD approvals?
anybody here received their EAD card without having the approval or touch?
I sure hope so!!!! We cant even access the EAD or AP online and the 485 hasn't been touched since 11/9. I'm trying to psych myself out righ now because I was searching numbers around ours and found one just two digits from the 485 that is a EAD card production on the way! I think my hubby thinks I'm crazy for searching this stuff every day but COME ON!!!! The holidays are coming and we need two working people in the fam!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Inky, I had my biometrics done on the 2nd November and haven't heard anything since. I guess we just have to be patient, I want to be able to work!! There doesn't seem to be any kind of pattern, some people are getting approved after a week, others like you and me are having to wait longer! Starting to get a little impatient....
That's the truth- but note our timeline... I really wish that they would just enter all of the cases online and have adjudicators work on them in the order they were received- which, if I look at how people have been receiving theres, I can see that it is certainly not done that way.
-
Yesterday I received my NOA letter for my AOS Initial Interview. It was dated for January 05, 2010. I guess I better start gathering all documents needed for the interview before I get pre-occupied with other things....like Christmas and New Years celebration/vacation with my honey.
I also wanted to mention that I haven`t had a touch on my applications since 10/26/2009. If you don`t see your case online or if you haven`t gotten any updates for a while, I woudn`t worry too much about it. For instance, My I-485 is still on ACCEPTANCE and I already received a letter for my Initial Interview.
Thanks for your response- honestly I am going a little crazy but our I-129F is the perfect example of the websites innefficiency as it is still on "pending". I'm pretty sure I will be calling next week though and causing as muchas a stir as I can!
Greg,
We received the following email this morning for our EAD:
On November 23, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you.
In other news, we also found out were are expecting a baby
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
