You're eligible to apply 90 days before 9/2/13, as long as you've been married at least 3 years (so, basically when your ROC window opened up last year)

My wife received her GC card today 4/20! Happy Happy!
We updated our VJ timeline so not sure why the Removing Conditions still shows (pending).

Today, Maria and I received our I-797, Notice of Action letter in the mail with "Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved...." Date of decision was 04/08/2013. I am surprised we did not get an SMS text message... we were worried because of the RFE.
Please update our entry. Thank you and best wishes for everyone.
Btw, Maria's admission date shows 09/02/2010 so does that mean she is eligible to apply for naturalization N-400 on 09/02/2013?

Thank you all for the kind words and suggestions. We have just about got all of our ducks in a row to mail the RFE package to Vermont. I have typed up a standard cover letter which lists what we are sending to support our application.
Miscellaneous
• Copy of our plane tickets for our most recent trip to Brazil to visit my family for December 14, 2012 to January 9, 2013 on United Airlines and TAM Airlines.
Residence
• Copy of our lease agreements for the past three years that show my husband and me as joint occupants.
Financial
• Copy of our 2012 Federal tax return. This is to supplement our previously submitted 2010 and 2011 tax returns.
• Copy of our bank statements from Bank #1 for June 2010, June 2011, June 2012 and February 2013 (latest).
• Copy of our bank statements from Bank #2 for June 2010, June 2011, June 2012 and February 2013 (latest).
• Copy of our State Farm Automobile Renewal Certificate 3/20/2013 – 9/20/2013 showing my husband and me as authorized operators of two vehicles and “married”.
Estate, Health and Financial Planning
• Copy of our Last Will and Testaments
Has anyone sent in their last will and testaments? This was one of the items on the RFE checklist. The RFE basically said to send in more supporting information/documents to show "Good Faith Marriage". Thank you. Any other thoughts?

Hello, my wife and I received an RFE today. I am very concerned as I do not want my wife kicked out of the country. I thought we submitted enough information. The RFE shows we submitted 2010 and 2011 tax returns, one bank statement for 2012 with no transaction history, 2011 flight itinerary, 2009 insurance policy (which is still active), health insurance and prescription cards, 2012 benefit election, 2012 beneficiaries summary and lease agreement and photos.
Not sure what else different to send them except updated copies such as our just filed 2012 tax return. Since I do not have all of our past leases was thinking of getting statements from two banks and the landlord stating that my wife and I have been on the accounts since we've been married. We do not have kids yet so we can't submit anything related to children.
Your thoughts?

When does the time clock start for the N-400 Naturalization process as far as number of years in the United States? Does the 3 more years start after they approve our I-751? or is it total 5 years in the US that make you eligible to file the N-400? July 2012 my wife will have been in the US for 3 years now. Thanks.

Does the NOA1 serve as the green card replacement (work, travel, etc) until the 'final' green card is approved?

We are planning our trip for the Christmas and New Year's holidays and the airlines (United/Continental, Delta and American) ticket prices out of DFW are 'very' expensive. Air Canada is the only reasonable choice ~ $1300 each vs. $1500 - 2000 each. I've flown Air Canada before to see my wife before she was in the states and got fouled up because the pilots flew to Dallas and ran out of hours to fly so had to wait for another crew which meant I missed my international connection. After arriving in Toronto Air Canada was very accomodating and rebooked me on the next flight that evening. Only bad deal was I was not properly prepared for the extremely cold weather and had to get a hotel room for the day.

My wife currently has her US Permanent Resident Card and we are traveling from Texas to Brazil via Toronto, Canada on Air Canada. Question is -- will their be a problem transiting through Canada with a US Permanent Resident Card? I didn't know if I should contact Air Canada or USCIS? Thanks!

Yes, we asked for the notice to be re-mailed. Hopefully it is a interview date notice since it has been 1 month since the biometrics.

Our case status changed today to , On April 16, 2010, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS as undeliverable. This may have serious effects on processing this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update your mailing address for this notice to be re-sent.
Interestingly, my wifes travel document and employment authorization arrived with no problems. I don't understand why the post office had a problem. Any ideas?
Also, I called the number USCIS, gave the information the customer service rep requested and that was it. He could not tell me what the notice was or anything which I thought was crazy! We filed through the Chicago lockbox. Is their any way to find out what the notice is by making an INFOPASS appointment or do we have to just sit and wait?

OK, got some good news today!
I got a call from our lawyer and he received our NOA1 and our official receipt date at the Vermont Service Center is 09-09-2008. I am only worried a little about the IMBRA waiver. I filed for 1 previous girl within the 2 year period. I have no criminal record or anything like that. I read that most of the waivers go through fine. The lawyer said it may take a little longer with the waiver to process.Best of luck to everyone.

I hope this is the correct room to post for September K1 filers.
I got a call from our lawyer today and he received our NOA1 notice. My official receipt date is 09-09-2008 at the Vermont Service Center. I am only concerned because I have a IMBRA waiver in my petition. I had 1 previously approved "canceled" petition in the 2 year period. I do not have a criminal record or anything like that. The posts that I have read it appears for the most part the waivers are being approved. My lawyer indicated it may take a little while longer to get through USCIS because of the waiver. I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying.Best of luck to everyone!

Our lawyer sent our K1 petition to the Vermont Service Center prior to his vacation. Hopefully, he should have an NOA1 for us when he return on 09/22. Best of luck to everyone!
