Albuquerque is nice. If you ever get a chance about 3 hours south in Carrizozo (next town over from Capitan lol) there's the Valley of Fire which is the remnants of an old lava field from a Volcano once up around Albuquerque
I lived in Capitan which down the road from Lincoln, where Billy the Kid had a lot of his famous shoot outs. There's lots of great ghost towns and places to visit there if you like that kind of thing. Don't expect too much from Roswell though they've gone way overboard with the alien theme lol
