      So sorry to hear that your application was denied. I hope you can share your findings with the VJ members when it becomes available. I mean the details of why it was denied. I suggest you contact your congressman/woman or even the Senator and ask them to do an inquiry in your case. IT IS YOUR RIGHT! Good luck!

    Final word came today: K1 petition has been denied. SAD, DISAPPOINTED, & ANGRY!! If anyone has any ideas what to do next, we'd love to hear from you.

      And the letter say? Why are they giving you a special reason for denied? Im so sorry however if you give more info that may help some of Vj,s great one to help you

      Sorry about that...i really feel for you guys...i understand the pains but is time to show the love you both share...the denial is not the end but time to stand up and prove to them how much you both love to spend your lives together....Be strong and let God be your strength...and pls is not becus of age difference nor not having a job is the reason of the denial becus i have seen so many people that don't work butt still get approved at Lagos Consulate...

    The interview is now behind us, and it went well: BUT Lanre still needs to complete his medicals, passport upgrade, and police report. Several reason for the delay in completing these very necessary papers, but as it stands, we were fortunate, not to mention BLESSED, that he's going back to the embassy to finish this process!! THANK YOU LORD! GOD IS GREAT!!!

      So is that an approval? How come.he didnt do medical and police report before the interview? Just curious?

    Less than 24 hours for his interview in Lagos: the jitters I'm experiencing aren't too bad, as expectations from this particular embassy are very low. Only God knows how much faith we place in His Hands!!
