  1. For those of you who have already gone through your cr1 visa interview in Casa, did u have to get a new police record, court record, and birth certificate for the day of the interview? Did you also have these new documents translated again for the day of the interview? The letter from the NVC says form not needed for these but I thought I had read somewhere you had to have new ones. Thanks for the help

  2. Hey Everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has tried contacting the consulate in morocco recently?

I have sent 3 emails and called and left 1 message and still no response. I am trying to find out the status of my fiances visa.

    Thanks!

They sent me an email just recently (yesterday).I think it all has to do with the way you ask the question because later that same day when I sent another they didnt answer.

  3. Does anyone know if when u lose your passport is there any other way to prove u have been in and out of ur spouses country?I dont have all the boarding passes nor do i have a copy of all the stamps just a few but some i am now missing. Is there some database that keeps track , will they autamatically know at the embassy?I have alot of pictures , train tickets etc.If there is a place to get the info about your travel what is the number?thanks

  4. I would call the consulate.

I called the consulate and sent an email and recieved an email saying that yes the iformation was correct the intrview was rescheduled and that I no longer needed the appointment letter because my name would be on an access list for this new date but on travelstate .gov it says u need this letter has anyone ever been through this in Casa?

I would email them again (or call) and ask for documentation of the change. If they do not send it, I think, if it's not too much of a hardship, I'd show up for the 1st appt anyway, then go back for the 2nd one if they won't see you on the original one. Surely they understand the need for documentation - however, this *is* Casa we're talking about - no rhyme or reason to anything that happens there.

I have spoken to my senator and he has agreed to help if the need should arise, I have sent his assistant a letter explaining what is going on, is there anything else I should so?I have tried to call the embassy and all i get is the machine advising me to send an email, which I did and recived a response the nxt minute.IS there another number I could use?
