I am posting this for my cousin.
Her fiance lost his job for few months but before he lost his job, he already filed the petition. Now, they they've been approved and got her appointment for an interview on the 24th of October. Her problem is his fiance couldn't provide a recent pay stub because of an unemployment. They just got income tax and W2.

BINGO! Now you know why it's not moving fast. Nothing wrong with you or your application, its the field office! Look through the many other filer threads and you'll see people from May 2014 in Dallas JUST had their interview. Unless they suddenly hire more people at the Dallas field office, you and I wont get an interview for a long while. Don't worry about it and live your life
You can travel and work freely with your green card anyway!
Thanks! I just don't want to renew my passport and it's been expired already. I'm planning to have a vacation in my country for a month but I guess I just have to wait til I'm done with this process.

Sassha, I am also at the Dallas office, and it's pretty back up so all this is normal. You wont get an interview letter for at least another 2-3 months...July filers in Dallas are just receiving March interview dates...and the USCIS timeline shows Dallas is currently processing N400 requests from April 2014.
We have a while to go
But I just wanted to comment so you know it's all normal!
abbyrnorm1, what field office are you at? Have you checked the USCIS website for current processing times of your field office?
I'm filing at Dallas. I'm in line for an interview since October 23. It seems Dallas is too slow. :-(

Hi! I've been reading this thread lately. It seems most October filers got the interview letters and some of you had been interviewed. And congratulations who passed the interview.
I'm an October filer as well but I didn't have an interview letter yet. My case status was updated since October 23, 2014. Me and I husband called the USCIS last week. They just told us to wait 30 days after the day we called.
I'm just little bit worried about application. I hope I'll get my interview letter soon. I'm just so anxious to get it done.

Yay! I got my greencard today in the mailbox!

I just had my interview this morning for K1 visa. My most awaited one. I had mine at 8:00 Am at window 29. The guy was a good looking one, but behind that gorgeous face was a horrible character. I know that their job is to scrutinize people, but wasn't expecting him to call me a liar where in fact I said all truth and nothing but the truth. I just don't understand what went wrong. Docs were all good and complete.. Questions were answered honestly. What more should I say? And when my name was called at the counter 37, the pinoy guy told me my case is for further review. They didnt say if i am denied or approve. Im so nervous that I wanna die now. Like my whole world and dream to be with my fiance all vanished. But my loved ones said, you said all truth and we don't know yet what will be their decision about it. But I don't want to hold on anymore. My dreams were all shattered and felt so humiliated.
I just want to know if this case really happens? I am now praying hard..really hard.. that somehow God will listen to me and hoping it'll be approved. Or will I ever have another interview? I don't like another humiliation from a consul.
Is there anybody here who has the same case? Or experienced same thing? Why do they need further review? Where all i said were true and honest.
:crying:

Hi! I knew what's your feeling right now. I've been in your situation. The CO was insisted that I was changing my identity. I was so frustrated and depressed. I took time for me to calm down and I didn't want to talk to anybody because I was so confident to pass the interview. I was in AP for 3 months but thanks God I am here now with my husband.
Hang in there and just keep praying!

Balut is only eaten because of the lack of food in PI. People who find their chickens eggs in later stages of development won't throw them away as an American would. It's all in the way one is raised. When you are younger eating balut sure beats going to bed hungry.
Poeple end up "loving it". It's all mental.
For me I'll wait a month or so and let the chicken hatch and mature and make adobo.
I'm and never have been starving tho and can wait.
Sad but lots in PI can't.
Believe me when I say you'll love eating balut if you are hungry and starving.
Balut is a Filipino delicacy. We have balut here in US too and many other Asian countries but different names of balut. It's not what we eat when were starving or hungry. Honestly, I tried to ate balut but I didn't like it.

Congratulations!

hi all,
today is very sad day. i went for my interview at the embassy and they give me back my passport and a letter saying 'unable to issue a visa to you because you have been found ineligible to receive a visa under the ff section:
section 221 (g) which prohibits the issuance of a visa to anyone whose application does not comply with the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act issued pursuant thereto. There following remarks apply in your case:*
221(g) for police report and AOS. Requiring proof from IRS of 2008 taxes. (Quarterly tax filings)
Please help me. Does this mean i am no longer able to get visa issued anymore?
However, The lady that interviewed me asked me to get police clearance of my fiance and also his quarterly tax filings.
Is it already denied?? or i can still get approved??
please help..
Thanks a lot
Hi! I knew what's your feeling right now because I've been in your situation. It took time for me to calmed down and I was crying before. I thought that I was denied. I was in AP/ AR for 3 months but thanks God I am here now with my husband.
It was not a denial. You need to get the requirements of what they asked for you and you'll be alright. Sometimes, it takes time for them to review your case but just hang in there.

Hi ..are these forms required in the I 129 packet ..DS -156 DS -157 DS -157K its new to me but its On the Manila Embassy web site..

hello everyone,,,im leaving on the 18th and honestly I am not sure what to take with me except my NSO Live Birth, Cenomar, NOA1,2, NVC Letter, Passport, Yellow Packet for the US Immigration, some proofs of relationship just in case they will ask, my Xray CD and Immu Record..
1.) Do I need to bring all the proofs i prepared during my interview for AOS?? like Email, YM logs, Financial Support, Pictures? Can someone be patient enough to list down the things I need to bring...I dont wanna be in US and only to find out I missed bringing some pertinent dox
-No, you don't need to bring the all the documents that you'd prepared in K1. You need to bring your visa packet, passport with CFO sticker, birth certificate, the immunization record from SLEC and NOA2.
2.) What are some possible questions to be asked at the POE??? Is the LAX Immigration personnel very strict??Could u please share ur experience here? and how long did it go before u finally get through??
-My port of entry was in LAX. The immigration officer was asking me one question. He just asked me " How's my trip?"
. He just reminded me that I have to get married within 90days. But the possible questions are like these, "what's the name of your fiance? and his complete address?"
So much thanks and appreciation
daisy and lane
God bless and have a safe trip to you!

Ok guys i have a question and i know that i'm getting paranoid. Few weeks ago i received this notice:
The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.
The question that i have is does it meant that it's transfer to California or to my homestate office. Thanks for any replys.
It means that your I-485 was transferred to California. This is a good news because you won't have an interview for your AOS.
Thank you, that"s what i thought in the biginning but than i started to doubt myself.
I got a confusion as well if where did they transfer your I-485. It was not stated there that your I-485 was transferred to CSC.
