interview oct.6 she don't pay DV i told my friend that need to pay advance

for DV because its take time and courses for visa its common problem

i am surprise she told me she only pay visa delivery during her interview

and she receive her visa in oct.15 wowwwwww!!!!!!!!! is that true that usem

they abolish the DV??? HUMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!

They didnt abolish it, they have suspended it until they can catch up from the backlog. it will begin again soon enough.

My interview will be on October 14th. A week before that will be my Medical Exam. I would like to get any suggestion from my fellow VJers to suggest any place either hotel, pension house or tourist inn that I can stay nearest to SLEC. Also affordable at the same time. I don't want to take taxi just to get to SLEC. I would like to have get a place that is just a walking distance to SLEC or much more nicer if it will be infront or beside SLEC. I don't want to be late and don't want to get into traffic.

It would be highly appreciated if I could get any suggestions. I'm a little bit freaking out already since I only have 3 weeks to to make a final preparation. Thank you in advance.

Hello guys just wanna ask when is the rightime to pay delbros. i talked to nvc and they told me that my papers was sent in the embassy last sept 8 and when i checked DHL the papers Nvc sent SEPT 8 was already recived my EMBASSY... do i need to call EMBASSY to check if they have my papers.. We are expedite for Early INTERVIEW.. Or i need to wait thier call b4 i pay the DELBROS???? PLS ANYONE...SUGGESTION.. THANKS

Hello VJ, I hope you can have some advice about my worries right now..

Me and my fiance just meet in Manila and when he visit here, he didnt able to meet my family, only my father who go with me in manila airport to meet him. but we didnt have pics that show my father and my fiance meet.. My fiance have some worries to come here in cagayan de oro since it is a part of Mindanao, since he don't traveled that much even in the US and the US goverment have traveled advisories that they should not visit here in Philippine especially in Mindanao. I've tried to convince him that here is a safe place and a lot of foreigners visit here already but he still not convince. he still decided for us to meet in Manila and while were there , we really don't go out for his safety, we even don't have a lot of pictures, friends do you think I'll be deny cause my fiance didnt meet my family? but about proof of relationship, I have everything, but it's just we don't have much pictures together. He is coming this November but were still gonna stay in Manila just the two of us. I can't convince him to visit here in Cagayan. Please give me some advice... Thanks to all of you. One month Before your medical exam,

take a lot of Vitamin C and fruits conteniously

to make your immune system strong.

One week Before your medical exam,

make sure that you dont have any common sickness,

like fever, colds, stomach craamps or headaches.

Make sure that your menstrual period is done before the medical exam.

Because if you are having your menstruation during your Medical exams they

would ask you to leave the premises and come back another day when your period is done.

hello guys! thank god our paperworks finally was sent and left NVC and it's on the way to the consulate here. I already have a Manila case number but i don't have the papers yet coz it was sent from NVC last monday. I just want to ask if its ok to call US embassy Manila to schedule my interview? even though i dont have the papers yet?

Just wanna ask, if any of you here has done their medical on the same day after a long trip from bus or plane? will this affect the medical result,like x-ray? for example, i will have a 1 hour plane ride, after dropping my things to the hotel, i will have my medical right away. will this affect my medical result?

i'm so worried now coz my friend told me that she was told to take the SPUTUM TEST and she was shocked. she was very healthy as always, then suddenly they called her the next day and was told to take the sputum test. she had an x-ray a few months ago also & she was clear. they were like 30 US applicants that day who took the test. how possible is that. is there x-ray really that high tech and sensetive? according to her also even others has brought along with them their past x-ray films (valid w/in 6 mos.) SLEC do not consider it. Another applicant who was shocked also immediately went to lung center & had another x-ray and she was negative there, she brought back the film to SLEC, but did not consider it either. Grabe naman sila, others even take the risk of doing another x-ray even if its not advisable just to prove their healthy, but they do not consider it still! SLEC was so MEAN!

Tanx for the tip....so what did "window X" told you about the PINK slip. I guess, receiving a Pink Slip is not an assurance that you can have your visa after 2-3days. still they will wait for the DV to submit to them, bcoz they ask for your metrobank slip...

But hopefully, you can have your visa next week. Fingers Crossed!

The window X told me "Everything with my papers is ok, just watch out for the delivery of my Visa".

THis is my experience during the interview:

When I was having an interview to my console at Window 29

she is very nice, she told me all my papers are alright..

And I asked the console when am I gonna get my visa....

She told to just wait for the delivery.....

And I told her thank you very much mam for your kindness..

And when I went out to wait for my number to be flashed,

(which was about only 1 min.) I went to window 38 and they asked for my MetrobBank slip...

And when i was finished he gave me the pink slip

and told me too proceed to DelBros for the payment of the Visa Delivery.(P250.00)

And then the woman told i'm done, but I was not satisfied,

I asked the woman working in the embassy who was a guide for the interview for the pre-scanner & console.

I told that I needed to talk to someone regarding the pink slip.

But I knew that the pink slip ment it was approved, but I wanted to make it sure that was going well.

So when I come out of the USEM I would have a piece of mind.

My Dear Vj family if your interview is done and you recieved a white slip or any color,

please dont hesitate to ask Window X for information if you have any doubts or problems .

This window will explain to you on what to do next or what papers do you need .

This person is or window is the " Information Booth ".

I hope all of you all guys will do well on your up-coming interview.

Emotion i would strongly suggest u call grace or lorraine to find out the status of your case,and if in fact your dv results are in fact there!Reason being i went through the same thing,was told that my bel's papers were at the embassy and they are in fact not there yet! I to put my bel's number into delbros tracking system,it says the exact same thing shipment in process,since sept 1 I strongly urge you to call the USEM and talk to Grace or Lorraine 301-2000 ext 5184 0r ext 5185 when you get to where the ansewering machine is talking just keep pressing 0 till u get ringing and keep trying till they ansewer ,please do this and youll know for sure,please dont rely on the NSO,isay this because in fact i just got off the phone with Lorraine and she informed that because of my being mislead by the NSO that the Embassy called there yesterday and wanted to know why this was allowed to happen even though there is terminal illness involved in our sitution,so please call the embassy,my heart will rest easier,Godbless Louie and Bel
