  1. i will have my counseling soon but i don't have the divorce paper of my fiance since i mailed some of the papers back to his place for our future reference.

would it be ok if i dont have the divorce paper during the counseling? ty

  2. kung gaano kabilis natanggap yung visa ko, kaytagal ko namang bumiyahe lol! sigh*

i should have resigned earlier with my work waaaaaaaaaaa! :crying:

i want to be with the man i love soon! lol! :bonk:

  3. i was checking my visa and i noticed that the family name of my fiance wasn't complete e.g. instead of BUSH it is BUS, and the abbreviated name of the state is changed. he's from WA and the visa is on CA although the zip code is correct. do i need to call the embassy for correction? or leave it as it is?

    help! :bonk:

  4. ty!

    i got my visa already.

will update my timeline later ehehe.

i am planning to attend the counseling on october 23 at 1:30 pm since i have to fly in manila. which is better PRISM or ST. MARY's?

if so, can i get the registered sticker at CFO on the same day?

    ty!

    :bonk:

I attended mine at PRISM, it took only less than 2 hours.

U cannot have the sticker stamp right away... you will have the stamp when you have the visa.

Please update your timeline..it will surely help other VJ members!

    thanks

  5. i am pressured working on my resignation, and my fiance wants me to be with him soon and i couldn't resign right away since my company is having a hard time looking for a replacement. it's a bit complicated to explain so to do justice with both lol i am planning to attend the CFO counseling a day before my departure. would that be ok? or would it be better to attend the counseling three days before my departure? ty

  6. ummm just a suggestion ehehe pls. don't kill me :bonk:

ummm maybe you could make a subforum of countries under K1 visa journey like k1-philippines, k1-vietnam, etc. ehehe because it would be quicker for the the reader to notice that and ask specific questions about the process on their country. just like what i did, i didn't know that until i kept reading and why my topic was always moved lol! some people are too lazy scroll down like me ehehehe. peace (F)

  7. the CO is on window 28 she looks like princess diana because of her haircut and she was very very nice

my 3-minute interview experience from the consul.

    questions from my interview:

    1. what is your fiance's name? ....blah blah

    2. when did you meet? blah blah

    3. were you married before...i said never

    4. what is his work? blah blah...she said oh good! lol

    5. tell me about his qualities that you like...i said blah blah lol

then she told me i was done and it was true love indeed lol and if i would go out on that room i would be on my own. i got a pink slip then lol! that was quick.

the weird thing was even on the preliminary interview the filipina asked me 4 questions only...a. what was my fiance's name, b. when did we meet and c. does he have children, c. where did my mom get my name; when i got the pink slip on window 38 the guy was asking the school i'm working and he was asking me a lot of questions than the interviewee lolol which i politely answered lol! duh :bonk:
