Mawning to all my yardies out there...I know its been a while but some of you know what its like once your other half is here. Its a challenge to balance everything lol....anyway my hubby and I are going back to Jamaica for the first time since he got here(a year ago) we are so thankful and can't wait to see the family....big up to all my yardies!!

Thanks americandiva. I'm hoping to get answers soon as to why we are pending AP. I would've been much more satisfied with a denial than not knowing why we're waiting for an approval. I agree that the consular could have mentioned something if there was a problem with the police record or the medical exam, but we got nothing...which leads me to believe they want more time to scrutinize my information for reasons to deny us. This is odd because wouldn't the USCIS, Visa Center or Dept. of State have denied us a long time ago? I am ashamed to say that it seems like if we had submitted a bunch of lies... we could've been approved much faster. When you give them the truth, they want more details. I will win this battle.... hands down.

Not neccasarily...with the K1, its usually always approved on our end first. The embassy is the one who can and does deny applicants. In a sense, they trump the US's initial decision. But just pray all goes well and enjoy your weekend, cause worrying is just going to drive you nuts.... Easier said then done....I know the feeling

I agree with maybe holding off on calling USCIS just yet (but have their # handy). I think you should be real clear about what exactly is going on because once you put any kind of indication that their is fraud going on there is NO turning back from it and it will just hurt your case in the long run if you decide to stick it out. Also, if it was me and my Hubby was feeling his self then I would def go and see for myself. I think if you can see with your own two eyes instead on the phone then that can provide some type of closure. After yall sort it all out rather thats done during your FL visit or when he gets his happy a** back to Oregon then you will have more of a clear head about how you can handle this situation not being solely based on raw emotions.

In closing, you should clown his dumb a**! I for one HATE liars and deceivers but what I hate more is a BAD deceiver. Hello fellow VJers. How do I make one of those fancy timelines that you all have that show date met, visit, noa-1 etc? Also, how do I know if my file was "touched"?

You can click on one of ours and go to the website. On the touch, I think if you stalk the USCIS every hour 24/7 like me then you can see if they "touched" your file today by the date. Maybe someone else has some other way....so glad your here. We need new blood......
