  1. Lets say, a highly qualified (education standpoint) female married (on paper with promise of real marriage after greencard approval 1 year later) US Citizen and I-130 was submitted on her behalf by US Citizen. However, US Citizen found out her intent before I-130 can be approved and withdrew it. Notified appropiate authorities and withdrew I-130. Filed for divorce.

Fast forward 2 years, same female finds another US Citizen and files marriage based petition. If file were to go to FPU and previous "husband" honestly tells FPU about her previous record during investigation, what are her chances of success?

  2. I called USCIS customer service center to change the address, they advised me to go online to change address. I changed address and after about a week I got a touch in the system, and after few days got letter in mail stating change of address.

I already did that about 2 weeks ago. I have not received anything in the mail.

I also need to change beneficiary address. I am not sure if that is possible via online website.

  3. Those of you whose file was transferred from VSC to CSC, and subsequently received Transfer notice, can you please post California Service Center address?

I moved from my previous address, and i am not sure i will get this transfer notice. Meanwhile, I am trying to update beneficiary address on my file as soon as possible so I don't have to deal with that at NVC stage.

    Thanks.

Anyone? C'mon guys I know lot of people already got transfer notice in the mail.

  4. Hi guys/gals,

My application was transferred from VSC to CSC recently. Unlike many of you, I am not very happy about this as I had I-130 withdrawal request pending at VSC. I havent' received the notice yet.

Anyhows, I was wondering if any of you would provide CSC correspondance address (usually located at the bottom) from Transfer notices. I think I may need to send my withdrawal request to CSC again, and hopefully it gets processed in time.

    Thank you.

Why would you withdraw. From the latest trend the VSC transfer cases are getting approved within 2 weeks of transfer so far. If you like you can check this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...3270&st=345

    Good luck with your approval

I want to withdraw because I am no longer sponsoring her. I hope my application does not get approved in 2 weeks.

  6. How long does it take for USCIS (Vermont) to respond to my withdrawal letter for I-130? Do they even respond at all?

I recently sent a letter withdrawing I-130 via certified mail, but I have yet to receive a response or any status update online. I am just getting anxious.

Also, is it possible to change beneficiary's address on I-130 while my withdrawal letter is being "processed"? Would that cause any complications? This would be precautionary measure just incase they don't process my I-130 withdrawal in time, and it gets approved for some reason. I do not want any piece of paper regarding this filie to reach my "spouse" as I think (more like know) my "spouse" may try to use fake I-864 to complete this file (I didn't see any place on I-864 for notary- Does it not require notary? I was suprised).

    Thanks

TooK CSC about 6 months to respond to my withdrawal letter. Better to do Infopass if you are in a hurry.

I-864 no need to be notarized anymore.

Seems to me it would be very difficult for a beneficiary to get away with doing all the necessary submissions to NVC and pull off passing the embassy interview without the petitioner.

Your spouse will get the DS 3032 [Choice of agent] tho and can put their name and all the paperwork would go to them. Changing their address may stop such from happening.

Sounds like you guys have hit a "bump" in the road with your relationship!! :help:

Yeah, BIG BUMP. Read my other thread (check my profile).

Anyways, 6 MONTHS?? Thats rediculous. I will definitely call them on monday to change beneficiary address, just in case. I just don't want to take any chances. I am suprised that I-864 does not require to be notarized. It is such an important document. It is wierd that I-134 requires to be notarized but not I-864.

Infopass at local USCIS office would be ok? What you guys think? I have to look into how I go about getting infopass. I thought it had to be vermont center because file is located there.
