    I can't believe it. No RFE's, no interview...nothing! We filed back in May. Transferred from NSC to CSC. Had Bios on 6/24 and hadn't heard anything since. I was really worried we would have trouble since we had separated for 13 months of our marriage. I thought for sure that we would be asked for more evidence or interviewed but nothing. I am still in shock...

    Thank you VJ for everything! Now on to the Naturalization forum :dance:

    congrats :dance::dance::dance:

    I-751 sent on 12/18/07

    I didn't get an email yet, maybe I will receive one later, but at this point I guess it doesn't make any difference.

    Can somebody please update my status on the VSC list? Thank you!

    All have faith and confidence, VSC is working!!!

    congrats :)

  4. I just wanted to say that this VisaJourney has been incredible. I have relied on the information, advice, and experience of this board for the past 3 years. From the time I began to research the various options for obtaining a visa for my husdband to TODAY, when his ten year green card came in the mail. You guys are wonderful and I honestly believe this board is 1000 times better than hiring an attorney (unless of course you feel you have to). All the information I ever needed I found here. What a comfort it was.

    I was a bit nervous about getting and RFE because although we had a lot of evidence, we also had a few things that I thought might really work against us, but not only was he approved, the approval and the card arrived just 3 months after filing. Life is good. Thanks.

  5. We live in California and it was a relatively easy process for us the entire way through. My wife's 2-year GC expired early May, 2008, so I submitted the I-751 in early February. I don't have all the paperwork with me, so I can't quote exact dates.

    She got the NOA and biometrics appointment within a reasonable timeframe, but we had to reschedule the biometrics because of some conflict (probably a business trip of hers). Rescheduled appointment was about a month later, and after that, we received a letter saying we need to go in for an interview and an appointment letter will be sent to us at a later date. BTW, we did get "interviewed" as well for the initial 2-year GC, but wasn't asked any kind of personal questions about our relationship. In and out of that one in about 10 minutes with a very friendly USCIS officer.

    Our final interview was this week and again, it wasn't much of an interview as we weren't asked any kinds of personal questions about our relationship. I was looking forward to the interview just to see what they'd ask, but no luck there :P . The officer was again extremely friendly and asked for any additional evidence, which I provided to him (bank statements, tax transcripts). He said he'd work on it and have a decision by the end of the day. We were in and out of the "interview" in less than 10 minutes! We had actually shown up early for the interview because it stated to come 45 minutes early for security processing, but we actually left the building before our scheduled appointment time.

    Received the approval notice in the mail yesterday (2 days after the interview) and are now waiting on the 10-year GC.

    This forum has been an invaluable help to us through the whole process from getting my wife's K-1 up until this point.

    congrats to you
