Hi everybody!!! Well.... What a waste this morning was. We decided to wait it out and not get the EAD.

Im just curios about the decision of not having the EAD. If i was you I will apply bouth for theEAD and the Advance Parole since you never know when your case is going to be approved.

Just my 2 cents.

Let me see if I get this clear. The Advance Parole is good until it expiration date BUT if I stay more than 90 days the officer at the port of entry could consider that I am abandoning my AOS?

I already had my interview. I wasn´t approved due the Name Check is pending.

Anyway............ I do have my Advance Parole and my concern is if 2 months abroad is not a lot of time outside the USA and someone at the port of entry can deny re enter the USA.

As far as i know, you are here legally (and therefore able to stay) until they make a decision on your case. After they make a decision on your case, your status alters accordingly.

*edit - by "abroad" im assuming you mean in the USA, not outside of the USA.

Im in the USA. Of course I came here legally on a K1.

I just wanted to know if there is a maximum frame of time that i can visit my home Country and return ( to the USA) using the Advance Parole.

I have to go back my home country for 2 months. I am going to use my Advance Parole to enter the USA.

Do you think that 2 months abroad is too much time and the office at the port of entry can deny me coming back?
