Just be there early with ALL necessary documents and you're good to go. I can say the pre-screener asked more questions and took 30 mins than the CO who took just 10 mins of my time. Relax, you'll be fine...

If my card is not in the mailbox today, or tomorrow, I'm gonna call USCIS. The approval letter is dated May 1st, now it is 3 weeks since the letter was issued, I should have received it by now (so says on the welcoming I485 NOA).
me too. I haven't received my GC yet. I was approved April 28, almost a month. Maybe I'll wait until next week. Anyways, days are really fast. I don't think of it that much due to so much thinking here at work.

Yehey... I'll just make this brief and simple. We were approved at around 2:30PM. We were interviewed 2:20 PM,our schedule is 1:45PM, so we went half-day at work. The guy handed us a letter stating that we were approved and will get the card within 90 days. No other questions asked aside from those already on the forms submitted.
It's a tiring day but it's worth the wait....

to those who received their EAD lately and used that as a legal presence document in applying for california state id/driver's license how long did it take before you receive your id? i applied jan 28 and until now i still don't have my id. i went to DMV yesterday and they told me that it's still pending due to verification of my legal presence document. hello, it's not like i'm illegal. besides, i can always renew my ead card supposing i haven't received my gc yet before it expires. i don't understand why they make things so hard. in some states, AOS noa1 is enough but in cali it seems that they want the greencard. i am not really in hurry to have my greencard before but now that things are harder when you don't have it i am starting to feel frustrated because i don't know when i will get it. it sucks when you are stuck in a busy local office.

It's been more than 30 days now that I too don't have that ID from DMV. I'm also from CA (SoCal). I don't think of it much cause I have a temporary license that will expire on May.Although its just a paper which cannot be used for identification. I think they really verify everything as fraud is rampant nowadays. At least I have my EAD for identification and legal presence evidence.
Let's continue to hang on. DL, transfers or interview letter and GC will be on our mailboxes soon...(as well as employment)...

Got my EAD in the mail today...Yepee...I can get my DL already which has been expired due to I-94 expiration...

I just got 2nd e-mail from CRIS. Card production ordered again. I know many are receiving 2 emails like these... At least case is moving....

Im so happy. I just did my biometrics this morning. And now I received an email from cris. CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Yepee!!!

i did my biometrics today. finally. My appointment notice is only for I-485. The CIS office guard said they cannot do my I-765 because its should be stated on the notice. I told him that I called USCIS customer service, that is a representative said that I only have to say I have another application. That's what I did. But I end up in the manager's office requesting for my I-765 biometrics. And it worked out!!!
I just say "please" with a big smile and he said "ok, we'll do it." He just wrote something on my appointment notice. I'm thankful. Praise God.
