here's my story, i was married with my husband for a year and 7 mos, we had the ups and downs as what married couple have. we had diffferences we argued but there were also times when we would be okay with each other, the thing is i wasnt really able to tell him what i really feel inside whenever we argue...he is so dominating and every attempts of talking would fall into deaf ears...i had to succumb to his wishes and found out later that i lost my own personal being...there was even a time in our marriage that all he wanted was to use me...forcing himself against my will...then at the later part of the marriage he started to become so possessive with me...its like an obsession...to cut it short i became unhappy with my situation...at a later part of the marriage i met this very good man, he was my friend and my confidante. we dont know what happened and how it happened we just realized one day we love each other...ironic isnt it? some may judge the person in me but that was it i was unhappy with my marriage. My husband knew about it and so we had to separate, my husband said i have to pay off my debts with him...i was fine wih that...im paying him a good amt every month for the debts i owe him(we had to make a loan for my mom and its under his name)...my husband said he would sign the conditions to lift my status so long i pay him off my debts...he wanted to deport me...i guess he still does...so im concerned now regarding my stay here...my visa would expire next yr of june and i dont know what to do...im willing to go back to philippines if thats the case but is there any chance that i can stay? he is harrassing me everyday,to the point of me getting sick and getting panic attacks...i have never heard such bad words in my entire life...i onced loved him...i may have made a mistake but it always takes two to tango...if i were happy...if i was just treated with respect...but that wasnt the case...now im at a losing end...i love this guy who i am with right now...im very much happy with him...but will i get deported? can i still apply for the conditions to lift my status? please enlighten me...i have built my life here already i have a stable job...now im concern regarding my status...can i stay or will i have to go?

hello can anybody share their experience regarding my friends status as of the moment?/

i have a friend who came in here with a K1 visa they got married and she had her greencard, the problem is her husband abandoned her last december and totally cut off all their communications, her problem is she needs to apply for an approval to lift the conditions on her greencard...would she be able to apply by herself?(what i knew about this was you need your husband's signature in filing the application) and is there a possibility that she will be deported back in the philippines if ever her husband refuses to sign? what would you advise her to do? they havent filed a divorce yet,...and she needs to apply this may coz its in the requirement that you need to apply 90 days before your greencard will expire...what should she do?

need some help here...i am planning to have my seminar this coming friday and i have only tomorrow to prepare evrything...i have read a thread here which says i need to submit a notarized parental consent if i am below 25 years of age...fortunately im 24 so this pertains to me....my question is..

1. where will i get this consent form? is there a universal form regarding this or will i have to make my own and have my parents sign it then have it notarized?

2. Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary: this is on the yellow envelope...will i have to bring it and have it photcopied?

i hope anybody there would share and shed some light to my confused mind....

Medicals are so different and so much of it depends on the country. For information like this, it might be a good idea to either PM someone who's fiance is from China, or look on the specific forums. I'm just saying this because, being a woman, and reading threads over the past two years about female examinations, I know that they differ from country to country. Don't set her up to expect one thing when it may not be the case for your area.

im not giving false reassurance here...im just relating what happened to me as i know its a case to case basis...but what i am certain of as 1 of the healthcare team i am sure that as a patient you have the right to request for a female doctor....that is 1 of the patients bill of rights...im not basing only on my experience and by just reading threads here ok? i have been working in different hospitals and i have had observed and experienced cases such as physical exams wherein patients asked for female doctors and it was being granted...im informing him as not all of us knows that...god bless...

My fiancee wants to know all about the Medical exam particularly as it applies to OB/GYN part of the exam. Can someone please let me know if you

have had the Medical Exam if it is very detailed? Can she ask for a female doctor?

When i had my medical last aug 6 i was as scared as ur fiancee but when it was at the physical exam part where u hav to be naked, it wasnt as embarrassing as what i thought it was...ur fiancee will have to wear a hospital gown and will be asked to lie down....the doctor will be female that i assure u and as a nurse i know that as a patient u have the ryt to ask for a female doctor if they assigned a male doctor to ur fiancee..tell her that if that happens to her...the doctor checked my ####### because some may have hemorrhoids and i heard that should be removed first...then the doctor told me to be in a position like when you deliver a baby and just look on my private area that was just it...she didnt have internal examination and this only took happened for 5 mins i guess so no room for fears tell her that...hope this would help

i paid my dv aug 4 and delbros sent it to nso aug 6 i had my interview aug 19 but till now im still waiting...everything happens for a reason so lets just keep praying and be strong for faith can move mountains... god bless us all

my fiance employment letter was addressed to USEM...but when i had my interview last August 19,2008 they didnt asked for it they only got my fiance's w2 form and ITR's... hope this would help....good luck!

im from cebu...im just new here in vj thats why i didnt know you...after your interview i was the one who followed after you same consul i guess...

Hi Jerdex! Oh really? You should have approached me at that time.....I was carrying such a heavy transparent white bag. I paid delbros last July 7, 2008. I didn't do anything to speed up my visa....I just prayed and I waited.

Don't worry you'll get your visa soon........

that's what am doing wait and pray... i thought it was all ok coz when i asked the consul what am i gonna say to my fiance after the interview she told me that my visa will be approved after they finish verifying my documents...i had a very nice consul and she said so far she didnt find any flaws with what i submitted and that it was all fine.... we will just have to wait then.... thanks for the reply...its good to know im not alone in this

i paid delbros for my document verification aug 4 2008 i text them and got a confirmation that they have received the payment. I sent a msg to them asking when they forward my case to nso and again i received a reply from them that they forward it last aug 6. I had my interview last aug 19 and i got a pink slip and white paper...the consul told me that they need to verify my documents and after that my visa will be approved.... it says on the white paper that WAIT TILL YOU HEAR FROM US.... i had all documents they needed and they didnt ask me for more evidence or so.... i have read from a post here that she had her interview same date with mine and her visa is on the way....that is why i told my fiance to call usem and they told him that our case is still under administrative review....

What does this mean? are they having second thoughts with our application? is my case already verified by the nso? I tried calling the number that was given here but nso number is under repair and i cant get hold of them...i also tried calling delbros for the status of my case but they told me i just have to text the hotline numbers....

i am really worried? whats happening? does anybody here have the same experience? please tell me what to do aside from waiting lol...

I just called USEM to check if our case is with them now, was told it's on electronic file now.What does this means? Can we try to schedule for an interview with this status? I have tried calling the call center using Smart (1-909-101-7878) can't get through,,tried adding like 00... same thing.

do u know ur case number? if so u can call the call center but try using a land line phone pldt that's what i did but i called the operator first then gave her the number 1 909 101 7878 B)

i was so happy that the consul assigned to me was very nice....it was so pleasant talking to her as if it was not an interview at all...after the interview i asked her what am i gonna say to my fiance after the interview and she said tell your fiance that your visa will be approve if we are done verifying your documents....and then i was told to wait for they will just have to call my name again and then i hear somebody saying my name went straight ahead to window 37 and was given pink and wight paper which says wait till you hear from us...

i have a question: am i approved? or is there somebody here who was geven the same thing and their visa was denied? just wanna know... thanks!
