No, if you are using only your income, and not another sponsor, and your income alone meets the requirements, you can use the EZ.
Thanks, I feel much better now.

Hello,
This is my first post and I've done a search but can't really find an answer. I'm trying to decide if I can fill out the I-864ez instead of the I-864. I meet all 2 of the critera and am not sure about the last one which goes like this:
The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on your salary or pension and is shown on one or more forms W-2 provided your employer(s).
The thing is... I have a regular job and I tried to start a contract work on the side. The contract work didn't go well and I ended up losing around 800 dollars. This is shown on my 1040 as a loss, and there's an attached Schedule C on the tax form. I still made enough on my W-2 form. So, can I fill out the I-864ez since the income I'm using technically is solely based on my W2 form or do I need to use the I0864?
Please help...
Thanks.
Supplemental Information Sheet
in K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Posted · Edited by Sandles1234
Hello,
I just received the packet 3, however, I'm not sure what to do with the Supplemental Information sheet that came with in it. Do I mail it in with the DS-230 part I? The checklist doesn't mention it. I'm not quite clear on the instructions ".. return it along with other completed Packet 3 documents to the National Visa Center". Or do I just mail it to my wife and mail it in with the DS-230 part 2?
Thanks!
