Guys. I got approved today.My I-601 went from pending straight to approved.Didnt enter the review phase at all.I think primarily because mine was a vaccine waiver issue and not related to any past crime or hardship etc. Really,there are no legal grounds to refuse an I-601 vaccine waiver.

For those contemplating a similar route I can tell you that the Immigration and Naturalisation Act makes provision to refuse vaccines on moral and relgious grounds and the matter is also a 1st Amendment issue which protects an individuals right to excercise relgious convictions.

However,I will say that the wheels only became greased when I made it known I had retained legal representation.

I have been made to wait though since last September but I had other family matters to take care of in my home country so I wasn't in a rush luckily.

I have heard of people being approved in email and refused in the snail mail tho so I won't count my chickens just yet!!

I wanted to ask/find out how everyones I-601 applications are going/went?

I filed mine in September of '08 in order to seek the legal waiver on the vaccine requirments. All very straight forward and uncomplicated. I was told the application would take 12 weeks to review.

By January I had heard nothing so I sent an email off. I got an apologetic reply to say the application hadn't even made it to the relevant department and they would get it sorted asap.It's now june and the application hasn't budged from pending Limbo. I recently retained the services of a law firm to write to USCIS confirming my legal rights in the matter.

That letter arrived recently.We will see if it has greased the skids or not.I have further emailed to make sure this letter is included in the I-601 file.It seems important documents only make it to their destinations if one pushes.I am utterly horrified and mystified at the whole sorry process not mention how rudely ,and with what disdain I was treated with on the day of my Visa interview!

PS. My fifteen weeks is about to expire and I havent heard a thing.Never got any reply/receipt recognition to my I-601. I don't think the "seriousness" of offence has any bearing either as I have commited no offense. I simply refuse to take their poisonous innoculations.

Ye,I applied for the waiver from Vaccines as per the legal provision under the Immigration and Naturalisation act. 12/15 week wait.1 week in so far.

Incidentally I was interviewed by an absolutely horrid indiviudual at the embassy.Total Nazi who contradicted protocol for visa applications. Time and again they tell us not to make travel arrangements or quit jobs yet on the day of the interview I was hauled over the verbal coals for NOT making travel plans or quitting my job!

How do you deal such schizphenic people.? I will actually be making a formal comlaint once this whole process is over.The Consulate web site insists that applicants will be treated with dignity and respect.I got neither. I hate dealing with women in these beuracratic situations.The Power turns them in raving harridans. Had dealings with a similar witch in the US regarding problems with our marraige license. We ended up having to get a senator involved to sort out the problem.Horrible horrible people in US beaurocracy.

As a nurse trained in the UK and working in the ED in the USA, I will have to say you are talking "smack" in regard to the risks of vaccinations compared to the risks of not having them. I think before quoting the CDC you should actually read their website on vaccinations, you may get your facts straight then.

Also signing a waiver does not mean they (DOS) will accept it, its up to them. Also you may well have issues with AOS.

The nurse asked you if you wanted to test for immunity in case you had ever been vaccinated before or if you'd had the diseases in childhood. She was trying to save you the process of the 601, not vaccinate you.

Not true .Due to the litany of other required vaccines on the list I would still be going through the 601 process.It's all about money money money

So,had my Medical at Brunswick mansions,London for my IR1 the other day. Had no problems with the nurses or Doctors once I articluated my legal right not to be vaccinated. If u know what your talking about with regard the legal provision made in the "Immigration and Naturalisation Act" and make the point that the issue is between oneself and the Consualte they will back down quite politiely. I was offered the option of being seperated from more of my hard earned cash in order to be tested for immunity agaisnt those things they wanted to vaccinate against but this to me was a pointless excerice given my stance on vaccines.The Nurse didnt seem to quite get that point but the issue wasn't pushed.

Next step- Finish filling out the 601 ,have the Visa interview,file the 601 and sit back n wait for a few more weeks after that.I'm in no hurry.

Ye I just read my documentation from the Consulate. Vaccination records are not required for K visa's until you apply for permanent resident status

Oh no, I WANT the vaccinations.

I have no problem with having them, I just want to do it in the cheapest way possible.

And it is a requirement I think.

IN fact as a a K1 applicant you may not be required to be vaccinated until youy adjust status later on in the states.

Their is a legal waiver from vaccines but it will cost u 270 quid and an extra 3 month wait while they process extra forms. For me its worth it but everyone makes their own call.See the debate posted below

There is not a single medical paper that proves the efficacy of immunisation as a preventive against disease. I've looked. There are however may papers that show that,at best vaccines do nothing and at worst the can and do actually cause epidemics and and an increase in the diseas being immunised against. I'ts alrweady been demnonstrated that the rise of illness like TB etc is linked to either poor nutrition,over crowding and sanitation/and or the initiation fo vaccine programmes. I'd love for you to prove me worng but I already know you wont be able to.

You sugges that the MMR you have take hasn't had any ill effects. With all due respect ,this is an incredibly naieve view when one researches the fact that vaccines may not manifest problems for many decades Later down the line. The Polio vaccine has already been proven to cause cancer decades after the fact. I wish you well off course and one can go on various chelation and hydrogen peroxide treatments to deal with vaccine damage.

You are correct,it is an opinion with no scientific or factual underpining. I say this in all charity because I once held similar views myself until I began my private research.

I'm afraid the list of Medical Doctors who would disagree with you is ever expanding.Many of whom,incidentaly, worked in the vaccine field. DR G, Buchwald MD ,for example, worked in the small pox field for years and now exposes the dangers of said vaccine,not to mention that being immunised against the disease did not prevent developing the disease and to a great er degree than those not immunised.

For those interested in real study I can highy recommed Dr Buchwalds book, "Vaccination,a buisness based on Fear" and his Vaccine lectures which have been brought together into book format.

Dr. G Buchwald MD has done stellar work in exposing the false link between the fall-off of disease on introduction of mass vaccine programmes. He in fact shows that due to better sanitation,nutrition and clean water supply disease was naturally lowering in incidence and in fact the introduction of vaccine programmes caused an upward spike in the incidence of disease.

My own brother in law is crippled now as a direct result of the polio vaccine and I know peronally 1 case of the menigitis vaccine causing deafness in the infant. I know one couple already who were bullied into taking vaccines despite their objections. I don't know why they succumbed as there is legal provision against being medicated against your will for this process.I wondered if any else had gone through this process from a similar stand-point.

I am expecting hassle but I won't be drawn into debate as they send you for psychiatric evalution if you become agitated or angry. How Orwellian is that!?

So,I've done plenty of research.The Autorney General of the US has made legal provision for those apposed to vaccines on moral or religious grounds.This is the only way to avoid the vaccines.It does mean the need of filing an I-601 and the added cost of filing is stiff, $545 dollars as of writing but what price Health and peace of mind!?

Filing an I-601 will added an extra 3 months onto the whole process as well but I'm in no hurry so thats fine.I have been told that no one has ever been refused a Visa on religious grounds.I am interested in hearing about anyones experience on this issue.

Guys,I am planning a request for waiver authorisation on the grounds of not wanting Vaccines. I can't get any info how ever from the London embassy regarding how,to whom,how much and in what currency to pay for filing an I-601

I've emailed and phoned and been greeted with a mix of deafing silence and ignornace of said form.Anyone got the info I need?
