I was on k3 and got greencard after AOS interview with CR6 code.

I think you shouldn't worry and don't write anything to USCIS. Once you get greencard with correct name, DOB, sex and nationallity.....that's it. Which code they put is USCIS's internal process with different categories.

I don't think so that anyone else except you worry about code.

i suggest that you just relax and enjoy your wife's greencard.........and continue in life. Because life far more than just greencard process.

    good luck

I think with e-file, you can justl 800 number and give you receipt number and they will schedule fingerprint appointment.

This was was the one of benefit of e-file which I took during my EAD renewal. Because if I paper file that ime then i will have to wait till USCIS send appointment for fingerprint. May be this is also case for I-90 e-file.

So, nothing harm to call 800 with your receipt number

    goodluck

    Per my attorney…..

K3 is non-immigrant visa and you can use this visa for multiple entry till it expire.

But once you have apply for AOS then you are no longer considered as non-immigrant visa holder and you considered as ‘pending applicant of immigrant process’, so you need AP.

My attorney says also that if officer at POE really wanted to enforce the law then they don’t let you enter on K3 visa by knowing that you have applied for AOS and they want to see AP.

I'm sure that they made a mistake in reading fingerprint expiration date. I feel very sorry for you both.

Please stay calm and you will be done very quick once you give fingerprint.

for to reach ASC in Alexandria, you can 'Fairfax Connector Bus 171 towards HUNTINGTON STATION ' from FRANCONIA-SPRINGFIELD METRO. this bus will take to the door of ASC.

    goodluck

nice to hear from you after long time. We have been together on K3 forum last year and had a almost same time line.

I'm done with my AOS last week. My attorney told me to take I-693 in interview regardless we had submitt AOS paper work within one year. Thanks god, we took I-693because interviewer asked for it.

So, take I-693 in sealed cover from approved doctor

    goodluck
