I have a K1 visa and I have moved to America and I am now married to my wife. I am still waiting for my Greencard and I have recieved work authorization but it is going to expire soon. Does anybody know where I go to renew my EAD?

We have our interview for my AOS soon. If all goes well and the greencard is issued, is that it? Are there any other steps? Are there any other things I have to do and how regularly do you have to renew the greencard and touch base with the authorities?

I have the interview for my AOS and I understand I need to go to a doctor here in Denver (where I now live) for a vaccination supplement. Can anybody tell me if there are specific doctors i need to contact.

I have an interview for my adjustment of status and cannot make the date. Has anyone had experience changing the date of the interview and if so, how long did it take to schedule another interview and were there any other implications that I should consider before changing?

Hi everyone,

We just received our initial interview notice in the mail today.

Although we got married in a civil service for the AOS application, we planned a bigger wedding ceremony with all our friends and family for this summer. Our interview date is the day before the wedding which is a seven hour drive away.

All of our friends and family will be at our rehearsal dinner without us. Has anyone had any experience in rescheduling their initial inteview date and if so, how did it go? Did you have to resubmit evidence etc? How is the interview process in Denver? Thanks for all your help.

We filed the AOS and EAD together in March and just had the biometrics taken last week. We didn't include a vaccination supplement when we filed, because we mistakenly thought we didn't need one. (David had his medical exam in England last August.) Does anyone recommend getting that done now and sending it in or should we wait to see if they send us an RFE for it. I just don't want them to deny our application because of it. Thanks for any advice.

I have an appointment scheduled for my biometrics and would like to know how long it will take for me to get my EAD once I have attended the biometrics appointment?

I have my visa in my passport and i am filing the i485. The form requires my non immigrant visa number. Can anybody tell me what number that is and where i can find it on my visa that is in my passport.
