my wife had 2 interviews and yes the last one was in the back. he may get another interview from a diffrent person or maybe the same one. my wifes second interview was much longer and more intense. he need to make sure that he doesnt change any of his answers from the first time. this will be the final test. so it is either yeh nor nay. and after it is said and done...he can ask f he will get his visa. inshallah they will say yes.

RAINA$GY....congradulations. yes i understand you being on pins and needles. sometimes even after you get the visa you can not believe it..........you believe it only when your loved one is in your arms
UPDATE....Ibrahim called DOS today and they said visa was issued....Whew. Even though the CO said this yesterday, I'm still on pins and needles where Cairo is concerned. Its not over till I have visa in hand. No movement on DHL.Aya..any update from DOS on your end....visa issued

Did you miss me? Please say yes. im soooooooooo sooooooorrrryyy for my absence I have been sooo busy with this thing called marriage. hahaha. I guess i need to tell you all how everything happen to explain myself.....right (((PB&J)))? ok ok get some here we go.
she went from fez to casa on a train. it is like a 4 hour ride. she boarded the plane at 1030am morroc time and arrived at JFK at 230pm our time. i drove to philaddelphia from ohio the day before....... straight from the office to the freeway because my mother wanted to come too. then we drove to new york the next day. i waited outside the international arrivals with balloons " i love you and welcome home" i waited like an hour after the plane landed. i meet this man from egypt there. more time i wait. i decided to go out and check on my car......when i returned i saw my princess ohh i thought i was dreaming as i look at her dressed all in pink. i was soo excited i forgot to take pics oh and let me not forget my mother was crying too.
we went back to philadlephia so we could introduce her to the family. and right before we were set to leave a few days later.......my mother says can i come back to ohio with you all for a couple of weeks. How could i say no?? So now i have to women in my house haha. mama is teaching her how to cook american foods and use the appliances here. and since my mama is a retired teacher she is tutoring her as well. Alhumduallah. they get along great and everyone is happy.

Ok, its a bit tricky to remember all the names of the things in Arabic, so I will tell you what it is in english...seriously I can't remember what the stuff was called except the spice mixture:
Ok there are eggs, stuffed eggplant (has been stored in olive oil), two kinds of olives, olive oil (as a dipping element) & manageesh (spice mixture of thyme & sesame seeds---you dip your bread in the olive oil, then in the spices), labaneh (kind of like a yogurt) and the white balls, as I understand it, are some type of sour cream that has been pressed somehow into balls & stored in olive oil. I loved everything except the olives (home grown & homemade of course!).
Umm Amanda i think. in moroc we had warm milk, coffee ( i dont drink coffee ) and bread with like jelly and butter. ..... oh and cheese. some of the bread was plain ( in a brisque type ) and the other had nutbutter / chocolate inside. Now this is my favorite ummmmmm

Im a july08 filer and i want to tell you that there is light at the end of the tunnel.....
Im sorry for keeping you in the dark
........Remember the day i said that i was going to call the counsulate and see what happened at the interview?? Well as i was calling the counsulate my fiance was calling me on the phone. i answered and it was her telling me that she was in AP. Well on monday she gets a call from the counsualte to come for an appointment. she asked what should she bring and they say her passport. So naturally we are excited but nervous at the same time. She goes to the counsulate on wed. and they give her another interview. She says the interview was 45 min long . they asked her about me and my parents........everything was game, but she knows everything (even my social security number by heart ) so she answered all the questions well. Alhumduallah. After the interview the lady asked her for her passport and told her that they would call her in a few days. MY fiance asked " call me for what? " the lady smiled and said " your visa " my fiance said " really, sure, everything is ok " the lady responded " yes hen my fiance asked when will you call me? the lady said in about a week and my fiance left. Well well well......what a differnce 24 hours makes. she received a call on thursday (the next day after the second interview) from the counsualte and they told her to pick up her VISA TODAY!! I had to go to the office today and i wanted to leave early so i could be home to talk to her on the web cam, becasue i wanted to SEE the visa. But i had a stupid department meeting. When i got home i had her show me the visa and it finally hit me ......WE DID IT!! i did not want to post anything here until she had it in her hand. I hope you all understand my abstance........right?? Forgive me??
So it's time to say goodbye
to all my visa filling, noa2 waiting, stress filled, daily crying, heart aching, couch sittin, july08 filers. But...........i gotta go!

[Maybe they don't have anything to say as our case is too complicated and Waleed still has to get packet 3 in. Once he gets it in we should have some kind of formal answer like when our interview is scheduled. Hopefully it's this summer while I am there. I am bringing two books full of evidence. The letters Waleed sent me while he was in the military, and everything that lead up to us getting married 2.5 years ago and then of course there is the wedding stuff from this summer once I get there.
Oh and CONGRATS MOH! You are so lucky!!!

WELL WELL WELL:
let me tell you what happened when i called the counsuletee
( i cant spell im shaking ) well first i called using the number i got from the web....and it didnt work
then i called the NVC and they gave me a number............and it didnt work
( mind you i only have 1 hour to call between 3pm - 4pm morroc time and i stated calling after 3:30pm)
ok ok then i called DOS and they gave me a simular number............and it didnt work
i they went to our trusted web site VJ and looked under the counsulate information page, called the number listed...........and guess what?????
IT DID NOT WORK
now its like 3:50
and im getting nervous because i can not find this number 
.but then i
that my fiance told me, when i was there, that moroc changed the number for when you call someone. They added a number. i remembered it was a....... " 5 "........but where did it go?I remembered putting it in my mobile when she told me so i wouldnt forget ( i have a smartphone my company gave it to me Mcdonalds) alhumuallah. so i ran and got my mobile and i searched in it and could not find it
. i told myself i know it is here somewhere. i searched and i search and i found the number .Now listen as i am calling the counsulate in morroc on my home phone, i get a call from morroc on my mobile
. i pick up my mobile to answer it and it is my ........she says salaam alaaioum i say walakioum salaam. she says what are you doing? i say i am calling the counsulate. she say oh that is good. i say yes yes. she says BABY THE COUNSUALTE TAKE MY PASSPORT AND THEY WILL CALL ME LATER TO PICK UP MY VISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A L H U M D U L A H then the phone hung up. i trired to call but it only rings once and hangs up. she called again but the phone did not connect
.................but i know the news and that is whatt counts! OH i guess i can get out of the bed now. its like 1230 here. i wanted to stay in the bed just in case we got bad new..........then i would be in the place i would go anyway
