    HELP! EAD card exp. on Aug 27, 2010

    Hi I'm new here...I am on a k3/spousal visa for almost 2yrs now. I got my AOS interview scheduled on August 10. My visa is going to expire on August 27 together with my EAD Card (applied separately). I am currently employed..so my employer gave me a letter that I will need to submit my GC or new EAD or else they will terminate me on their system. Is it possible for me to get an early interview (in order to get my GC earlier) or get a temporary EAD to show to them?

    Hi..CONGRATULATIONS! have a safe trip and Goodluck! I stayed home for 2 days waiting for my visa...kailangan pa pla na lumabas ako ng bahay para dumating lang un..Kc kung kelan ako lumabas ng bahay, I was like gone for 2 hrs lang nman para pumunta sa bank and magpa-notary ng SPA, saka dumating sa bahay ung DELRBOS messenger. Good thing andun Lola ko at nka-prepare na ung Authorization and ID namin. Sa pagkaka2alam ko wala nman ako balat sa...you know.. :rofl:

    Yes....happy reunion! :D yeah BORA is really beautiful...di nga makalimutan ng husband ko un eh..nice to know na punta kyo dun. I'm sure u'll enjoy it both. We went there ng month of October...and its octoberfest so baha talaga ng beer..and daming live band! buti na lang morning lang nung umulan...pero before lunch time tigil na rin ulan and the rest of the day mainit na so masarap mag-swim...hehe! ENJOY!!! :D

    Hi cooky! at last nakuha mo na din ang visa mo..ang tagal din nating naghintay syang nga lang di tayo nagkita nung interview natin pero ok na din diba isang araw lang naman ako naunang nakareceive ng visa eh hehehe im really happy for you sis! mauunahan mo pa ko bumyahe hehehe naiimagine ko ung "slow motion" mukhang ok un ah hahaha

    Hi Maricor...Thanks a lot! Di kc ako nakapag-online for 2 days kc busy at nagpadespeduday ako sa family ko and my friends...ka2tapos lang. Im sure anjan na c Henry. Eto kcng asawa ko eh sobrang atat na bumiyahe ako...na-pressure 2loy ung travel agent nmin kc naubusan ako ng aug 24 and 25, fully booked na PAL and other airlines...pwera JAL kaso ang mahal...charge nla sa kin $980...grabe laki diff. nakakuha ako ng PAL aug 28 at $782...kahit pa2no nkahabol...hehe! fully booked na daw until end of aug, sept 4 na ung next available. E di siempre napraning asawa ko ng malaman na 2 more weeks pa aantayin nia if grab ko sept 4...kya kahit alanganin ung day aug 28 kc day off nia mondays and tuesdays kinuha ko na rin... :D

    Yeah..."slow motion" yun ha, take note!!! hehe... (JOKE!!!)

    Thank you...nung malaman ko ung CFO seminar 2weeks ago..eh naki-run na rin ako sa PRISM kahit wla pa kong VISA, buti na lang di nila ko pinauwi kahit wla pa visa binigay na rin nla ung blue cert after. :D

    Finaly, after waiting for soooo loooong...dumating na rin ang VISA ko today at 11am...I was interviewed JULY 3 pa hehe! I got a text from delbros last aug 20 at 11pm, and second text (after texting them this time) just this morning..that visa is on its way na daw to CAVITE...sa wakas. Have to rush to the bank and CFO after, kc CFO closes at 4 or 5pm I think and travel agency at 5pm...Im planning to leave sana on aug 24 or 25 kaso fully booked ang PAL, my natira 1 slot na lang for aug 28 so I took it na rin. hehe!

    Nagulat pa nga ako kc ang alam ko nga nka-sealed dapat ung yellow envelope (VISA PACKET), pero when I opened the plastic cover nakita ko yung envelope na cut opened sa corner like malinis ung pagkagupit..I have to call one VJer, Maricor, to ask her pa about it and the Immigrant data summary (un pla kc K3 ako kya wala ako nun hehe). And the envelope should be like that pla..hehehe! Kala ko tuloy punta pa ko ng Embassy hehehe!

    Thanks for all the help guys here sa visajourney...Big help talaga, I wish sana earlier pa ko nag register...I didn't know kc at first...pero after my medical dun ko nlaman about VJ...I'M GLAD I MET...VisaJourney!!! hehe! Right now iniisip ko na lang pano kme magki2ta ng asawa ko sa airport...like sharon and gabby ba sa PS I love you???...with matching takbo2 pa ng slow motion???!!!! :rofl:

    Sis as far as i've known PDOS are for overseas workers only... :)

    We are all required to attend..kc check nila ung sticker if nkalagay na sa passport...if wala...kahit my ticket na tyo di nla tayo pa2alisin ng pinas. PDOS kc is needed, briefing un on what to do and what to bring sa airport and who to call in case we need help sa bansang pupuntahan natin...and ung sa CFO cert kc lifetime natin daw ga2mitin un. :D

    They have incorporated PDOS with the CFO seminar, if you will notice, you are given the list of things to bring and where to go to when you get to the airport and contact nos abroad if you need help, that is PDOS already, pero brief na lang yun. CFO is just the commission's name. :D

    How long does it take to review a case? It's almost 2weeks since they received the verified documents. :cry:

    All depends on what documents they are reviewing. Late registered birth certificates can take months. If it's just for CENOMAR it looks like 2 weeks to a month. Hard to say with the "new" DV requirements. Hopefull USEM and Delbros will get their act together with the DV process in the future as they sure don't now!! :bonk:

    My DV arrived at the embassy already last August 8. Why taking so long to review? :cry:

    Hi...ako din eh. USEmbassy received DV on Aug 4 pa daw...and told my husband that our docs is under consular review for 2wks. I still don't know the status until now...I'm afraid to call them, even my husband. Parang mas type ko ata ung surprise na lang...kesa nangu2lit ako sa kanila...kc nka2inis lang. :bonk::lol:

    wow cooky 2 weeks for consular review its that for 1 person only all for all the papers they got wow.. that took so long ha! waahhhhh

    Korek! Di ko alam bakit pag sa kin ganun katagal...wala pa nman ako narinig na ganun..di kaya my galit sa kin ung consul na nag-interview sa kin??? :unsure: Nka-smile nman ako sa kanya, nag-greet nman ako ng "good morning", nag-thank you nman ako after....Haaay Kalokah!!! Ka2pagod na mag-antay. Kahit yung asawa ko sabi parang ayaw na nia tumawag kc lalo lang cia naa-upset sa sagot ng embassy. Like what happened nga last week nung cnabi nla na 2wks ang review ng consul...pero yun nga kailangan pa rin ako kumain ng pacencia...buti na lang marami sa grocery :o at nadagdagan ulit khit pa2no... :(

    HI...I'm planning to attend 2mrw Aug 15 @ 10am...sa PRISM Taft Ave. Yesterday 2mwag ako sa contact nos ng CFO (I guess sa Quirino ung nos), they told me na dapat daw nsa kin na visa and passport pag mag-pa2sked ako ng seminar. Nagulat ako kc marami na ko nabasa na nagpunta na lang pero pinag-attend pa rin khit wala pa visa. My nagsabi na sa kin na pumunta na lang daw ako dun. Cguro nga ganun na rin ga2win ko. Sana nman di nila ko i-reject pag dating ko dun kc sayang nman byahe ko, though malapit lang ako sa place..but I still want to finish it sana as soon as possible kahit late na ung pagpa2lagay ng sticker or stamp and ung certificate. Tutal sa CFO Quirino nman daw un ibi2gay...correct me na lang po if I'm wrong... Thanks! :D

    Hi...question...kailangan ba tlaga 5 days b4 my intended date of attendance tawag muna ako sa CFO or pwede khit 2days/3days b4...kc sana sa friday ako aattend eh...wala pa visa ko pero magda2la na lang ako ng photocopy ng passport and other valid IDS...need ba tlaga magdala ng 2x2 pics? Ilan po ba? Ok lang kya in-case dumating this ng weekend yung visa ko and sa monday ko plan umalis...pwede kya ako magpatatak ng CFO monday morning kahit monday evening alis ko (in case lang)??? :help:

    positive pa rin...siempre! hehe! :D thanks a lot Ann and kingman....sabi din sa NSO nung aug 4, monday nasa embassy na daw..then 2wks daw review ng consul again, sabi nman sa embassy yun nung tumawag husband ko...nka 1wk na ngaun. Ganun ba tlaga katagal ang review? eh july 3 pa ko na-interview, my review pa rin until now....Grabeh na tlaga toh :(:bonk:
