I keep checking , I know it has only been two days though.....
I hate to say it but we were told within 2-3 weeks but it's been 6 and there has been no sign of anyone working on our file. Then again we may be a special case. I don't see how though.

We had our interview 4 weeks ago. They said there was another file with my name on it and once it was processed she'd make a decision. Said 2-3 weeks. It's been 4 and still nothing.
I have no idea what this other file is.

Silence isn't bad. The only message you should worry about seeing is APPLICATION FOR ADJUSTMENT TO PERMANENT RESIDENT DENIED.
Thank you, so far so good then

What type of visa did you adjust from? K-1, K-3?

Many experience a delay of AOS due to FBI checks.
From an R-1
Oh and my time line is really hard for us to keep track of but we're working on it.

We're in the exact same boat. No change. Waiting for files to be combined when we only should have one on file.
They took my I-94 too but from what i hear that's just what they do.

Last month... July 29th we had our interview. It was friendly enough but somewhat underwhelming. Anyways it lasted less than 5 mins, she took our files and evidence and said we'd know in 2 to 3 weeks.
Everyday i check the online case status and it has not changed. I'm beginning to think it's not changing because there's a refusal in the mail.
Any one know if there's a case status to warn of this? Maybe it just hasn't been touched.

Thanks for the replies everyone. It got late and i got tired of worrying about it so i went to bed. After all that it was not worth the fuss. The criminal history question came up.. i said yes..she moved on.... Didn't get an answer yet though. She told us there was another file with my name on it that she was supposed to receive from another office. That's weird because i know we only opened one. She said it's possible its just another person with my name but i wonder what the chances of that are.
Anyways we shall wait and see....
Thanks again.

Well.... my AOS interview is tomorrow and we were reviewing all our documents. Everything is in order but one thing.
7 years ago i was arrested changed and sentenced back home. I knew i was supposed to bring the court papers and disposition. Which i have but tonight we saw it says "arrest record and court..."
I don't have an arrest record. Many months ago when i called the police about this stuff they referred me to the court and this is all the court gave me. Its official and gives the sentence information. Is the arrest record something different and CRUCIAL?
Have NO idea how i missed this.... somewhat beside myself right now.
How long after your AOS interview before your case was touched online?

I'm for sure going to go for the infopass soon but from what i read today user curiousapple who had the exact same issue as myself has just gotten approved. So time will tell.
