I find the instructions to the form to be pretty darn helpful.....

The fee is $930 only (no biometrics fee required) for applicants under 14 years who submits Form I-485 independent from other family members.

The fee for a child under the age fourteen years will be $600 when submitted concurrently for adjudication with the application of a parent under sections 201(B)(A)(i), 203(a)(2)

His petition is completley separate from yours. You will still need to file to remove the conditions at the proper time regardless of his status. By the same token he will need to file the 485 to attain permenent residency.

What kind of a visa did you come to the US with?

thank's we came here for K1 and K2 visa but i came here first coz my son problem for his medical ( my son hyper autism ) thats why he dont get his change status in same time with me and st lukes hospital hold his papers that back home ( philippines hospital ) then after that they aprove him so i go back to philippines to get him and we start all over his medical record here in U.S i dont know what to do if i need to get his change status now ? or file for my I-175 and include him with me

After two years of being a Conditional Permanent Resident a Green Card holder must file to Remove Conditions. See this Guide and Section 7 of the FAQ's for general information on removing conditions.

per the USCIS:

The I-751 is used for a conditional resident who obtained status through marriage to apply to remove the conditions on his or her residence.
