While you're waiting the best thing to do is occupy yourself with a hobby
or an activity/past time you enjoy. It will certainly ease the headaches, frustration and the stress.

Hodgie took me to his class today. I actually went to his class yesterday also. However, he taught high school students yesterday while he taught those kids who were only around 8 years old today. You might wonder how I could go with him. Well, I really appreciated the advanced technology. We couldn't be so close to each other without laptop and camera. Even though we were on the opposite side of the world, and we haven't seen each other for more than one year, we could see each other through the camera. I had so much fun going everywhere with him.
Sometimes, I was indeed worried about our case because it's been 4 months since we applied for K-1, but we haven't received NOA2 yet. However, Hodgie always asked me to be positive. Every time after I talked to him, I got more confidence, so that I could continue to wait for my visa patiently.
Please come, NOA2! August 16 is my birthday. NOA2 would be my best birthday gift if it could come.
I know it's easier said than done, but try to relax and take it easy in the main time and not stress about it.
BTW we're both LEO babies LOL my birthday is on Aug 15th woohoo!!!
~Happy Upcoming B-Day to Us~

My hubby & I requested cell phone/land line print-outs from our telephone provider and received them within a matter of days via mail.
Make copies/notes of everything.

Paying the ticket shouldn't be a prob, when your S.O goes to the ticket counter to check-in @ the airport they will ask to see his passport
just to check if the names match and he'll be fine. The both of you must be really excited to be reunited with each other.

I was able to view my case online way before biometrics appt.As soon as I received my MSC #'s I was
able to create my profile and add my receipt #'s.So it varies I suppose ,keep trying though.

It all depends on the office(each may have a different set of protocols )...But if you live nearby one, give it a shot and see how it goes.

Congrats to all those whose case have been transferred.

Thank you so much. Well, the nurse said I got the right kind and it does not matter if it is DT or TD.Well, you know, some weird USCIS officers can be very picky. But, it is a simply error.
Maybe the nurse was having a DT (down time) moment LOL.
Ugh anyway just wait it out and see what happens.

It would be best to obtain a "joint bank account" and at the same time you can always open up a separate checking/savings account if you desire.
I've done this and my hubby doesn't have a problem with this at all. We've actually took the time, sat down and discuss/assess our finances.

I have a marriage Certificate is that what i make a copy of and send for the AOS or do i need the certifed copy from the court house. I read in another post and it was said that the marriage certificate is not what AOS IS ASKING 4 but instead that they want the offical certified certificate from the public records that the court house on file. I would think that the marriage certificate is the same thing that the court house would give me. The marriage certificate i have has my wifes maiden name on it and does not have her new married name on it i don't beleave the certified copy would be any different.
My advice is never send "ORIGINAL" copies cause most likely you'll never see it again,
just make and send copies of everything.

Hola all:
GREAT news after one month of my Biometrics, rec'd this email:
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing
On July 31, 2008, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.
So there's still hope for people out there who are still waiting to be transferred. It's taking longer for my case, and some of you guys but don't give up hope

I Have the same camera,.....it has done me proud all over Germany, Malta, Luxembourg, Paris, Rome, and Austria,...Not to mention when i went home to Oz. It takes great scenic pics!
Mmmm Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie striking resemblance.
-
Casual attire is fine....Nice warm colors....If you're sweating pat your face dry,so that way it won't make a mirage on pic.
-
The phone/cell/text messaging is great (documentation)because it will show a time frame of the relationship.
Anything like poems/E-cards,photos helps. It also wouldn't hurt if you print out a couple pages of the archives on Yahoo Messenger.

Some get interviewed some don't... luck of the draw... It is no different other than you have to prepare to be interviewed and bring all your supporting evidence..... Some people think it is lucky not to be interviewed
I see...
Another thing, how can I check updates on my application
at USCIS?
Thanks for the assistance.
